Beach area is good, but can be better and clean. Too many small rocks and pebbles near the shore, which makes it poky but not hazardous. Kids can enjoy the fresh water in hot summer. There are enough parking around the park. Restrooms are not so clean.
Very well kept! Nice paved trails, and tons of picnic spots with grills!
This is my special place. I walk there almost everyday. Once around the trail is about 1.4 miles. There are also picnic tables, beaches, even complimentary life jackets hanging out for kids or even adults. (Please return them where you found them). Swimming areas are roped off for your safety. People often fish off the sides of the walking trails. There are swings to relax. It’s a great place. You do have to pay with a credit card to get in, $6 per car. You can also get in with your yearly pass.
I visited this park with my wife and 6 month old child. This place is very easy to navigate and has plenty of pathways. It is definitely an all day event if you want to explore the entire park. The beaches looked secluded and beautiful. This is definitely one of my favorite parks by far!!!!
Loved this place. So calm and peaceful. The walkways are paved right by the lake so for pretty much every step you will enjoy the water view. The entrance fee is $5 but it’s totally worth it 👍
