  Ellen is amazing. She has been a guide on my journey for the last 7 years. I started seeing her not too long after my husband and best friend of 40 years died. It was cancer, but very fast. I was in such a deep hole and Ellen helped me and guided me out of that hole. I did counseling and EMDR. with her. She is compassionate, caring and insightful.
  Not long after Greg passed, I had a recurrence of my cancer.
  The. last four years, Ellen has guided me on that walk. I am cancer free now, and I don't know what I would have done without Ellen.
  Between Greg's death and my cancer, i was filled with anxiety..
  She has helped me deal with that. She has worked me in when I was in crisis with PTSD episodes.
  Elle has saved my life and my sanity many times.She listens to you, gets you, and can help you find your way.
  As a person, Ellen is delightful and funny, and there for you.She is undoubtedly the best therapist I have ever had.

  Ellen is an incredibly talented therapist. She has lead me through many issues, conflicts, etc. Our sessions have lead me to a place of understanding myself more thoroughly and we have covered events throughout my life that impact me in ways I did not know or expect. I felt comfortable with Ellen when I first interacted with her and I am grateful for her insight, guidance and heart. Ellen is a counselor who truly cares deeply for her clients and wants the best for everyone she works with. She has a depth of insight that is unmatched and she also works diligently to offer relevant and attainable solutions and ways to improve situations that feel overwhelming or difficult. I can't imagine working with someone else and I to say I am grateful for her doesn't justly explain how helpful and insightful she is.

  Ellen has guided me through some significant challenges. Her talk therapy has helped me see why I make the choices which I have made. She offers book recommendations and usually has homework for me to do prior to our next session. I appreciate her action-oriented, goal setting style. During my sessions with Ellen, I never felt like I was just complaining about how things are. Instead, once an issue was identified, I learned to acknowledge the issue. Once acknowledged, I could use the tools which Ellen gave me in order to begin working through the issue, step by step. I would highly recommend Ellen to anyone who is looking for an excellent therapist.
