Second Chance Recovery Residences

Second Chance has been nothing short of amazing. I entered the residency with reluctance and now am glad I did. The program provides the structure needed to help anyone in early recovery. Staff is attentive, well meaning and have your recovery is important to them.

Debbie and team have been amazing and while I was reluctant at first, am glad I took this step in my Recovery!

I entered Second Change Recovery 06/2021 after completing 6 weeks of substance abuse residential treatment. At that time, I needed a safe sober living atmosphere to enhance my recovery foundation. Second Chance provided this atmosphere with a loving, accountable safe community.

We were required to attend daily 12 step meetings, obtain a sponsor, work the 12 steps and attend two community meetings every week.I was randomly drug tested which helped in early recovery for accountability.

I highly recommend Second Chance Recovery if you are looking for a sober living that truly cares about your well being and progressing with a solid foundation recovery program.

1 year at 2nd Chance
My experience at 2nd Chance was definitely life changing….the structure & accountability was exactly what I needed to prepare me for life after I completed an inpatient rehab. “Learning to live life on life’s terms” The staff at 2nd chance are there to do just that, help people learn how to live life sober and to do it in any of life’s situations and/or circumstances. Not only when things are going good or the way we’d want them to go.
Not really ego stroker’s or babysitter’s for sure and Debbie is going to call it like it is. Debbie is an amazing person and will go out of her way to help anyone who’s trying to help themselves!
Like I said, the structure & accountability in early recovery was a game changer!! I moved out over 6 months ago and now at 19 months sober I wouldn’t change a day of my experience getting here.

Second Chance saved my life. It provided me a structured and safe environment to learn how to live life sober. Debbie is one of very few half way house directors that takes a personal interest in your recovery and she truly cares about her clients. Here we are 5 years later and Debbie stills calls to check in on me and chat about life. Being at Second Chance under Debbie’s guidance was an absolute blessing, and I will be forever grateful for my time there!
