“It's a small hike (with all your gear, it can be cumbersome) to the river's edge, but it's all good from there. It's easy to get in because of the concrete stadium steps they have going right into the water. Nice slow float, with a few stops along the way (there's a 20-25 ft cliff that you can jump from at about the halfway point), and it lasted about 2 hours. We did paddle through the small rapids that pop up from time to time, so that may have made it go quicker than others experience. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in August.”

“Morgan Falls is a wonderful place to launch for kayaks or paddle boards. I go quite frequently and each time the water is a bit different. Sometimes it can be flat as a lake with very little current while other times it's got a fast current. All levels of skill level can enter water here as there is almost done come water by launch area. In addition there is an abundance of wild life that you can see including Great blue heron, king fishers, and river otters. If boating isn't your thing, the playground and the trails are amazing for being so close to the city.”
