“We traveled from Columbus, GA to compete in a rugby match here. The field was well kept and in good condition. It was a little small, and had lines from several different sports on the field making it kind of confusing to know exactly where our field line designations were in a hurry or during play.”

“I played tennis outdoors on a hard court. Great courts, unusually calm that day. They have clay courts as well as indoor courts. The courts numbers seem a little weird .”

“From start to finish this facility did an awesome job! They really made me comfortable for my mama to be in their care. Special shout out to Brittany at the front desk. My 10 year old son was having such a hard time and she was quick on her feet to come up with something that made his little heart feel better without hesitation.”

“We had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Chattahoochee Nature Center with the scouts this past weekend, and it was awesome! The kids loved it, it rained and was still enjoyable. The staff there was great, and did inform us that they also host birthday parties here. We were able to see the animals they have there which was really cool! Definitely looking forward to coming back, and having my boys birthdays here this upcoming spring. Go check them out, tell them Eric Berry your GA Realtor sent you.”

“Our family enjoys the trails and the huge playground area. This is possibly the best playground around! Several play sets allow kids of all ages to enjoy the area. It feels very safe. In the Fall you just want to walk the tree-lined trails. They are wonderful. This is an awesome area.”

“I found this place by pure luck & I could not be happier that I did! The one mile loop is a great trail, not too intense & the scenery is beautiful. I also loved the fact that they have an information cabin and educational wildlife including bats, a gator, owls & several other creatures! This is the perfect place to take your kiddos or just to simply feel like a kid again. I enjoyed talking with the staff they are all super sweet, full of knowledge and make you feel right at home. Thank you ladies for a wonderful day! I can’t wait for my next visit.”

“Hello, I did not realize this place was part of Cochran Mills park. Now what I did today cause it has been a min. since my last review. I decided I needed to get grounded and travel the trails that are not used as much. These trails are on the left side. I once went down them but ended up turning around and going to my comfortable spot where the falls and water is. There are so many trails here and some of them are deep in the woods. There is camp spots set up but I truly don’t know if they used for camping. It is very pretty back on this side. I went and just laid on the picnic table and closed my eyes and got lost in my thoughts. So many revelations came to me during my walk. I also got to see two deer and two foxes. They were to quick for me to get a picture. The deer just stood and stared at me. Now I am all about the synchronicities and meanings of everything I see. A deer symbolizes gentleness, awareness of surroundings, unconditional love and mindfulness. It also means your spirit guides are watching over you. Now a fox symbolizes intelligence, playfulness, beauty, protection, good luck, increased awareness, seeing through deception, symbolizes pure magic. They are linked to intuition , the gift of claircognizance( clear knowing ) being aware of your energetic boundaries, they can appear in your life to awaken these gifts within you. Trust your inner knowing. I am a believer in everything has a meaning in life and these animals made there presence known for me to see. Deers also symbolize instincts and intuition. It was meant for me to be right there at that precise moment”

“I'm cracking up that this park is too full of forest area for someone. The park has a paved pathway that is at least ten feet wide. There is a well marked trail that goes through the woods as well. A nice, easy hike for a 3 year old on both trails. I loved it! We saw ducks, geese, and turtles.”

“Great park in South Fulton County in Atlanta for kids under 10. Not a lot of play equipments, but for the size of the park, it's nice. It has two tennis courts, plus three basket ball hoops.”

“Amazing park that consistently has wonderful activities for children. Also has an awesome public dog park so bring your furry friends. There are soccer and softball fields, picnic tables and a duck pond. They also have a sweet disc golf course that you can play all year long as it’s mostly shaded. My daughter and I have been coming here for years and the playground is perfect too. If you can manage to find the trail entrance there is also a wooded 1.5 mile creek trail called seven branches across the street at the corner of Eves and Holcomb.”

“A broad immaculately, serene area full of vivacious activity, a deck which over-looks the lake and an awning portion for grilling & entertainment. A lovely place in which a fair amount of hobbies can be enjoyed, even if simply to read or recline. I propose you arrange a small to explore this location; you won't be sorry”

“Excellent park! Great place to jog, walk your dog, and just enjoy nature. Highlights include a scenic pond with two vibrant water fountains, a covered bridge, shady nature trails that loop by the river, and a play ground for children. Various signs are posted along each path telling the history of the area or explaining the plant life.🪴 Like most parks in the region, this one is well-maintained with much thought to the details of its design. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here when you have the chance! Well worth your time.”

“Pleasant feelings after visiting this nature preserve park. Very quiet and peaceful environment. Full of long trees with small bridges along the trails. Two tree different trails are there. We walk through just one trail. Direction Signs are not visible and accurate. Scenic views are scattered on this park small water creeks are there. Not children friendly and stroller friendly trails. If you need quite environment and peaceful atmosphere must visit this park.”

“Nice organized park with plenty of parking to the left and 6 sporting fields to the right. In the center quad by the baseball fields is a concession building with restrooms and a small playground for children. A pavillion is present near the front. A nature trail surrounds the entire park, half with pavement going around the sports fields. Gets fairly crowded on weekends.”

“It's a small hike (with all your gear, it can be cumbersome) to the river's edge, but it's all good from there. It's easy to get in because of the concrete stadium steps they have going right into the water. Nice slow float, with a few stops along the way (there's a 20-25 ft cliff that you can jump from at about the halfway point), and it lasted about 2 hours. We did paddle through the small rapids that pop up from time to time, so that may have made it go quicker than others experience. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in August.”

“This was my first time ever hearing of this place. My daughter did a google search for somewhere in John's Creek to have fun. This is the place she chose. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She had soooo much fun. We even noticed an escape room and a paintball room. Not only is it a place for kids, it's a place for adults to enjoy too. Very affordable from playtime to snack time. Thanks for the experience. We'll be back soon.”
