I contacted CV Source today with questions about lengthening a Cobalt SS axle for a swap. The gentleman took the time to answer my questions and explain what would need to be done by a qualified machine shop to accomplish my goal. He was very knowledgeable about my needs and explained they were not able to make the modifications I needed. He could have simply told me they did not do that kind of work but, instead he explained why I needed to have a machine shop make the part and what to watch out for. I really appreciated the information and time he spent on the phone. Thanks!

Update: Jon was able to locate 2 OEM axles in a matter of minutes. I bought them and had them shipped to CV Source. They rebuilt them and updated them to meet my application. Their knowledge of compatible parts for various applications is amazing. Their communication and the finish products are outstanding. My axles arrived well packaged and fit perfect. Jon and his crew far exceeded my expectations. Thanks Again!

I had both of my front CV axles rebuilt by CV Source for my 2010 Range Rover Sport. They did an excellent job and the axles are smooth as ever! If you can afford the down time of waiting a day or 2 to get your axles rebuilt, then, this is your best option and way better than spending $800+ on a brand new OEM axle. Its honestly a better option for reducing waste in a landfill... if that is your thing. In fact, I had to remove a NAPA axle that failed immediately. Never again! Either buy an OEM axle, or, go to CV Source. They are the real deal, and, can usually get your axle back to you in 24 hours or less.
