(February 27, 2022, 4:51 pm)THEY ARE A FIVE STAR, MY BROTHER WAS WITH THEM UNTIL HIS FINALLY RESTING DATE AND HE WENT PEACEFUL. THEY TREATED MY BROTHER LIKE FAMILY AND TOOK EXCELLENT CARE OF HIM. WHEN HE COULD NO LONGER CARE FOR HIMSELF, HE WAS ALWAYS WELL KEPT AND CLEAN. HIS ROOM WAS VERY WELL KEPT. IN MY EYES HUGH AND JENNIFER WERE THE BEST CARETAKERS I HAVE EVER KNOWN. MAY THEY LIVE LONG AND BE PROSPEROUS. THERE IS A PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR CARETAKERS LIKE THEM.
(February 27, 2022, 3:07 pm)After visiting Skyland manor and meeting the owners, I found the house to be very & quiet, run very well and following the rules. I was always informed of changes with my family. Close attention was given to my family. The 2 nurses do an awesome job with their residents. I would choose them again, If I needed too.

(February 15, 2022, 9:20 am)After losing my mother to dementia, my father, suffering from severe dementia as well, quickly needed a place to call home. We had tried other facilities and learned some real world truths about assisted care living. It is really important to match the original home life quality and vibe with the look and feel of the assisted care facility. It is easy for our loved ones to get disorientated and confused with new surroundings. Jennifer, and Hugh and their staff were amazing in the way they interacted with the elderly and their families in the facility. My father was not an easy person to get along with and could be very grumpy. I was amazed at how easily dad was able to adapt to life there. He actually liked his caretakers and never once complained about the care there. Over time my wife and I got to know the owners, who are always on site, very well. I can say without hesitation we wished we had found Skyland sooner, we would have all been happier. Skyland was able to care for my father for about 3 years until his final passing through the constantly changing environment that this disease creates. Jennifer and high were right there supporting us to the last minute, offering advice and recommending additional specialists and services as needed. I can’t say enough to support this facility and the people that work there. Bless you Skyland for making a very difficult situation so much better for our family.

(February 13, 2022, 9:57 pm)My loved one has received compassionate care at Skyland Manor. She is able to be in a comfortable home with professional care as she ages. The most surprising thing to me is that month after month , her care givers express joy daily. They have great attitudes as they serve the residents in their home ! I can’t imagine my life without Skyland Manor !
