“If you're looking for a top-notch car wash and detailing service in the Gibson family area, look no further than Gibson Family Hand Car Wash and Detail Center. I recently had the pleasure of bringing my car in for a full detail and I have to say, I was blown away by the level of care and attention to detail that this team provides. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff who took the time to listen to my concerns and understand exactly what I was looking for. They walked me through their different service options and helped me choose the perfect package for my needs and budget. Once my car was in their hands, I could tell right away that I had made the right choice. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that every inch of my car was spotless, from the exterior wash to the interior detail. They even took the time to treat my leather seats with a conditioner to keep them looking their best for years to come. The final result was nothing short of stunning. “Liz has been an excellent agent. I have worked with her through an extensive and long process of getting a property rezoned with a future land use map change. This was so we are able to purchase a property that many others have been unable to purchase due to the long process and details. Liz worked with the city and planning commissioner to get the process started and gain the knowledge of each step in this process. She has been present in all meetings and appointments. She’s kind and detail oriented and always timely. I highly recommend Liz for any of your real estate needs.”

“During my darkest days in life losing my husband suddenly at 44 I had no choice but to make arrangements. When I arrived it was pouring rain and I was greeted with an umbrella and walked inside to sit. Don listened to me and offered plots on paper, when he seen my grief he said “let’s go walk around and find the right place for your husband.” He walked in the pouring rain with me!” For about 30 minutes without one complaint. As far as the father and son go my dealings have been more with the son-Paul often referred to as the “Long gray beard”. I’m 4 months in and he still comes by and pats me on the back and asks me if I’m ok and if everything looks good or if I need anything. He stood and listened to me one day when he could clearly see it was all just too much. He has been wonderful. All of these people including the gentlemen cutting grass, working on plots, sales personnel or setting up for services have shown me so much support. Every time I visit I’m greeted with so much kindness. The gentleman cutting grass stopping to wave at me and telling me to keep smiling. Paul walking over to check on me anytime he sees me. But keep in mind I treat them all with respect and have common courtesy when I visit, place items around my husband, and making sure I do not interrupt or hinder someone else’s burial service when I visit. After all they have to cut grass, weed eat, and maintain these plots so minding where and what you put down is courtesy. They are wonderful people and I have no regrets trusting them with my dear husbands resting place. I look forward to seeing them when I visit.”

Power Stroke Specialty

Car repair

“I have been a Powerstroke owner since 2011 when I purchased my first 2007 F250 Powerstroke. During my decision to buy a Powerstroke I, like most others, turned to YouTube for advice and fixes for this vehicle. During my research I concentrated on 2 Powerstroke YouTube channels that had great reviews and accurate information. I learned a lot of good and valuable information from Diesel Tech Ron (God rest his soul) and you guessed it Powerstroke Help. Armed with the information I learned and studied I began my search for a Powerstroke truck. After several months I bought my 2007 Ford F250 Powerstroke. The truck had only 83,000 miles on it when purchased and had no visible issues. Prior to purchasing the decision was already made to “Bulletproof” the vehicle. My Truck was “Bulletproofed'' after about 3 months of ownership. During my ownership of the vehicle I had no mechanical issues other than an alternator and rear brakes, rear brakes and rear brakes. The truck never let me down and took me all over the country towing a 5th wheel trailer or my 28’ enclosed ATV trailer. The truck towed and drove great without issue for many years of ownership. Fast forwarding to November of 2022 when I decided to have some bodywork done on the truck to fix visible rust on the body and bed of the truck. While getting bodywork estimates I learned that the rear frame in and around the trailer hitch was severely rusted along with cab mounts, rockers and various other body parts. The estimates were in and around $30,000.00 to fix/repair the rust. These quotes were obviously subject to change as the work progressed and potentially finding more rust would most likely be found. I had a hard decision to make as this truck was part of the family and meant a lot to me. After careful consideration the decision to sell the truck became obvious but replacing the truck in 2023 seemed impossible without spending upwards of $60,000 for a used diesel truck with a warranty. After several months of searching for a good used truck my search always returns to Powerstroke Specialty. Getting a good used truck with a new motor seemed like a no brainer to me. I began speaking to Pascal in the beginning of March 2023 inquiring about trucks for sale and availability. Pascal advised me that they had a nice 2005 King Ranch in the shop undergoing the restoration process. A few photos later and the release of the April Powerstroke Specialty trucks for sale video, I placed a deposit on the truck. Pascal was in constant contact with me over a 2 week period about the process of the build and sending updated photos. I boarded a train on April 3rd and arrived at Powerstroke Specialty in the early morning on April 4th to inspect and take delivery of the truck. I arrived at the shop at around 10 am that morning and was greeted by the staff along with Pascal. The purchase process was seamless and the truck was everything they claimed it to be. The attention to detail was definitely visible as the interior/exterior was spectacular. The engine sounded great and the test drive was remarkable. I met Bill Hewitt, shook his hand and felt a sigh of relief that the search was finally over. After about an hour or so of going over all of the do’s and don’ts along with proper maintenance information and a run down of gauges (Installed as part of the process) I was on my way home with my new ride. My trip from Georgia to New Jersey was about 780 miles and the truck performed without issue. Bill and his team know what they are doing and do it very well. I am impressed with the knowledge they have for these trucks and the service that they provide. To this date the truck is amazing and impresses me every time I get behind the wheel. I highly recommend Powerstroke Specialty for anyone looking to purchase a 6.0 Powerstroke. Thanks to everyone at Powerstroke Specialty who helped with this purchase and the team of experts that make these trucks great again.”

Shoal Creek Campground

Campground Lodging Park

“I have no idea how anyone could give this place a bad rating. My wife and I went camping here for two nights over the weekend and had a wonderful time. This campground is GORGEOUS. Nearly every site has a view of the lake. We went in early November and the autumn colors were magical. We had a tent site. Each site has a fire ring and aluminum picnic table. And a tall pole... not sure what that's for but we put a lantern on ours for light. Check in was easy and there's a gate at the entrance, which I liked. We felt safe the entire time. There were other campers, but a lot of empty sites too, which is expected this time of year. It was nice and quiet most of the time. We did have an issue with some obnoxiously loud people at 1am but honestly, I've gone camping all my life and there's ALWAYS one group of obnoxious people at 1 am anywhere you go. I think someone called security, because we heard yelling and then it was quiet right after. Bathrooms and showers were clean, and smelt like bleach. Everything was in working order. Yes facilities look old but you are camping. This ain't the Ritz. If you want brand new gold toilets, stay at a hotel. All in all one of the most lovely campground I've been at. And I've been at a lot. Here's some pictures to show you how pretty this place is!”
