“This shop is usually booked but I was able to make an appointment within 3 days before my upcoming appointment time. I went in for box braids and was unsure of how heavy they would be. I was educated on how heavy they would be on my not-so-thick hair and chose micro braids instead. This was my first time getting micro braids. The ladies were quick (5hrs) and as the young kids say “understood the assignment”. The braids were not too tight and as you see in the pics very neat. $190 with hair is an affordable price. The shop was clean. Staff wore masks; yes the entire time. Customers wore masks. Staff also washed their hands between clients. To me that’s sanitary and very professional. Temperature was very comfortable. I will return for another service.”

I would recommend to anyone.who isn't looking for the "salon" experience and just needs a cute affordable cut and color done by a seasoned professional. My only criticisms were it's definitely a no frills kind of place. So don't be expecting to be ultra pampered so there's no water or coffee and tea service or beer and wine ( I used to love going to the salon back in Boston on Thursday or Friday evening for just this little extra they threw in) They do a good job and she kept good conversation. They weren't busy at all and I think that's due to her location more than anything. I drove right by the place because it's a little hard to spot, but other than those what I would consider minor things, I had a great experience and my hair looks fantastic”

“My daughter got her hair done here for the first day of school a while ago and they did a pretty decent job. My regular stylist doesn’t have anything open for a month so I decided to try here. You have to make an account to make an appointment and after I did that, the website doesn’t recognize my sign up. So click forgot password…still nothing. Way too much to book an appointment. I’ve spent a little over 20 minutes just trying to sign up and book an appointment. I’m too frustrated and judging by the other reviews on surprise fees, I’ll pass. And before the owner tries to jump on here and say I’ve never been…I most definitely have and have the receipt to prove it and I’m more than willing to show it if need be. I can also attest to surprise fees. I paid $145 for a silk press. I gave 4 stars because my daughters hair looked good. Took the other star away because of the difficulty of the website (it’s been changed twice since I last booked). Lastly, judging by the owners response’s, I think it’s fair to assume it’s a little “hood” here. What professional do you know responds to a customer’s complaint with “I got TIME today”.”

After a quick Google search, I found the Lice Magician number. I immediately called, Stephanie answered and after talking with her a good bit of my stress was already alleviated. She was at my house the next day, checked everyone in the house and treated all that needed to be treated. She educated us so much on the process and stages.
