“What a stress free experience at a trying time. For my mom’s passing, we worked with Scot Ward funeral services. Scot and his staff were so very easy to work with. From Rachel giving gentle direction to the sense of humor of Mike Sellers, and the personal visit and memories from Scot, the entire experience is one that I would pray that everyone can be so fortunate to have. Thanks all!”

“Freddie V. at Sunset Memory Gardens has been the most patient and kindest person to deal with. Freddie helped my family and I during the most unexpected time in our lives. We had to 2 unexpected deaths in our immediate family 6 weeks apart. He answered any questions we had and if he didn't know, he got us an answer very quickly. He helped in picking the best location for my loved one as well. Sunset Memory Gardens is very peaceful and has some of the most Gorgeous Sunsets one could imagine. I'm blessed to have chosen Sunset Memory Garden to lay to rest my loved ones. Dana”

“Both my parents are there....25 years apart. Dad bought 8 graves before he died 25 years ago on payments so we are set to go so to speak! Mom passed 4 years ago. So I will be there and other siblings. Very peaceful. They are awesome with a simple funeral with viewing and gravesite service. They are very caring. I love this place. Will be there forever so am glad.”

“My mom picked Honey Creek Woodlands after she got sick 2 years ago. Knowing how much she loved the spot she chose as her final resting place, really made things a lot easier. Everyone there, from beginning to end, was amazing. Losing your Mom is never easy, but I find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in such a beautiful, tranquil place. Thank you Honey Creek Woodlands.”

“We have several family members and friends buried there. The grounds are always well kept and clean. Considering the reasons for being there and as sad as they are, I think it's kinda calming. The lake, and the geese with the gazebo along with the clean flowing colors covering the grounds has a peaceful effect.”

“Our son recently passed (26). Traditional cemeteries did not seem right and the funeral home suggested Milton Fields. We felt at ease from the first visit. It is well cared for, and the natural setting is peaceful. The funeral went smoothly even though we had many friends and family come to the gravesite. Families are allowed to plant a Dogwood tree on the property, and are invited to visit any time during daylight hours. We ended up purchasing additional plots to be buried with him.”

“During my darkest days in life losing my husband suddenly at 44 I had no choice but to make arrangements. When I arrived it was pouring rain and I was greeted with an umbrella and walked inside to sit. Don listened to me and offered plots on paper, when he seen my grief he said “let’s go walk around and find the right place for your husband.” He walked in the pouring rain with me!” For about 30 minutes without one complaint. As far as the father and son go my dealings have been more with the son-Paul often referred to as the “Long gray beard”. I’m 4 months in and he still comes by and pats me on the back and asks me if I’m ok and if everything looks good or if I need anything. He stood and listened to me one day when he could clearly see it was all just too much. He has been wonderful. All of these people including the gentlemen cutting grass, working on plots, sales personnel or setting up for services have shown me so much support. Every time I visit I’m greeted with so much kindness. The gentleman cutting grass stopping to wave at me and telling me to keep smiling. Paul walking over to check on me anytime he sees me. But keep in mind I treat them all with respect and have common courtesy when I visit, place items around my husband, and making sure I do not interrupt or hinder someone else’s burial service when I visit. After all they have to cut grass, weed eat, and maintain these plots so minding where and what you put down is courtesy. They are wonderful people and I have no regrets trusting them with my dear husbands resting place. I look forward to seeing them when I visit.”

“I love this church because of our Pastor and his heart for missions, his teaching sermons, and his love of all people no matter what the ethnic background. The people are friendly and concerned for each other. I love the many learning opportunities in the form of classes, and small groups to strengthen our faith and discipleship. I believe our Pastor to be led by God because I can feel God's hand in our studies and worship. if you are looking for a Church home where you can worship and grow, this is the place. With Christian Love, Donna Bell”

“From start to finish this facility did an awesome job! They really made me comfortable for my mama to be in their care. Special shout out to Brittany at the front desk. My 10 year old son was having such a hard time and she was quick on her feet to come up with something that made his little heart feel better without hesitation.”

“Mom passed Feb. 7. Lots to do Feb. 8. Had called ahead to College Park Cemetery as mom had plot, but we needed to take care of all else. Contacted Taretta Dawson that morning. Much to do earlier in the day meant we were later in the day getting to cemetery for that meeting with her. It was near closing time. Taretta was ready for us with some pre-planning she had done already. She never rushed us. She blessed us with her grace and patience....her knowledge and professionalism. She gave us time to make important decisions. She worked with our budget and our changes. She encouraged us to feel comfortable with every decision made that day. All the behind-the-scenes at the cemetery the day of the funeral were perfectly done. Losing our mom hurts. Taretta Dawson's gentle and warm spirit made all the difference during this time for us.”
