“I taught here for 7 years, and was loved by the vast majority of children and parents alike. This school is a family- with teachers giving their all to support the differentiated needs of their children. There is a focus on character education as well as academics so students leave caring about themselves and their community. Parents are encouraged to be involved. Some of the below comments amuse me... Clearly a few disgruntled parents venting online. Immature... and misleading. The custodial staff at our school is amazing. As a teacher, I was supposed to ask for help to even move a table, as they didn't want the floors to be scratched. The school is clean, the staff is friendly, the parents are great, the children are well-behaved and amazing, and the teaching methods are creative, engaging, and diverse. Pharr Elementary is a school I'm proud to have taught at!”

“Our children attended this School, and we were very pleased as a military family. It truly cultivated the Military lifestyle and was full of diversity compared to more urban schools in the area. Teachers and staff were very caring, taught, and worked with kids who transferred in with all academic needs! Our children excelled here in their academics and we set very high standards including in their social lives. They identified our children as gifted and either got them in the gifted program or Honors Classes! Saint Mary's is All around a great school for Academics, Athletics, Band and extra curricular activities etc. It's middle school, an age where kids are very impressionable and trying to identify themselves! We actively Parented and was involved in all aspects of communication with our children's teachers and any experiences at this school! So just be the Parent your Child needs at any age and your Child will have a wonderful experience! Our children were extremely active and involved at Saint Mary's middle School. We have now PCs'd and we recommend this school to all Military Families in the various social media groups we are members of when other families say they're relocating to this area! We Still wear all of our Bobcat gear... Cheer and school Spirit Wear! ❤️”

“If you really want to improve English from zero basic to high level, I definitely recommend this school!!!!! At first, I just decided to go to this school just because it’s close to my house, but I noticed that here is exactly the right school that I had been looking for!!!!!! I was fascinated to the way Audrey teaches students, cuz she knows how the students feel, and what difficulties we have! “I have 3 sons in the Brookwood cluster. I love the Brookwood cluster. I have a child at Brookwood Elementary,one at Crews middle and one at Brookwood highschool. This cluster is by far the best in Gwinnett. My children also love their schools. All of the staff and administration are great! I wouldn't think of having my children anywhere else.”
