“Absolutely love Killer Tacos. Have visited a handful of times since 2010 and never disappointed. The service is kind and helpful and the tacos are amazing. By far the best tacos on the island and a must-stop place to eat near the north shore!”

Camaron Shrimp Truck

Address: 66-236 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712, USA

Restaurant

“The combo shrimp plate was right around $20 which is a price you’d only expect to pay in Hawaii. It’s worth the experience as it’s not something you’d spend on the mainland. There are several shrimp trucks along the road but this one is great. There wasn’t a long line and there are tables to sit down. I enjoyed the famous garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp plate and liked that it came with a small salad and a piece of pineapple.”

Impossibles Pizza

“In.cred.ible. We’ve been the last 3 Thursday’s in a row. 😂 the pizza is huge and fresh. The hours are weird (Thursday and Friday from like 2-7pm I think) but it’s SO worth it!! We’ve tried the white pizza with spinach and garlic, the pepperoni, and the impossible Hawaiian. I can’t name a favorite! Service is about as quick as you can expect from a food truck making you fresh pizza, and the owner is very kind and patient!”

We also had Panang curry and it was the best curry I’ve ever had slightly margining Cafe Za, Eri Cushing’s thaii curry. The Pad Kee Mao flavor was fantastic but could have had a little extra heat - get some extra chilis too. Mahalo”

Perhaps the best thing is the back of the shop is along a small river which has sea turtles along the banks. They offer kayaks and paddle boards for rent.. Great little stop to make when your going to the North shore.”

Your experience here will exceed your expectations.”

Pies have local flavors only found in Hawaii. All yum! Outdoor seating plentiful. There’s additional shaded seating across the parking lot that is cooler and away from the main area. Staff was efficient.”

“Best tacos on the island by far. This place has a neat little atmosphere. It’s located in one of those food truck parking lots (sometimes they are charging for $2 for parking but not always). They have a nice little seating area behind the truck. But the tacos…the tacos were excellent. So good that we came back again a couple days later. Order the crispy tacos! I have had chicken, pork, shredded beef, and fish. All were amazing!”

Big Wave Shrimp

They have pictures of everything so makes it easy to see what you will get. Husband got garlic shrimp, large portion and the rice was good. Only 4 star due to so many shrimp options around the north shore that are comparable if not better.”

Mayas Tapas & Wine

Restaurant

“4/5 "Liked it" Quiet, nice outdoor seating. Good food, fair prices, and excellent service. Would eat here again. Nice view of the market. Excellent beer choices.”

Jenny’s Shrimp Truck

Address: 66528a Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712, USA

Restaurant

“Delicious and easily accessible. Came to try the more widely known truck, however the lot was full and there was an hour long wait. Totally worth it to go here, my only complaint is the shrimp is slightly smaller than I would have liked! But it's worth it, you get a salad which is refreshing. Get the spicy garlic shrimp, it is amazing and has a distinct chili flavor!!! You can't go wrong with the garlic butter as well.”

Poke for the People

Address: 66-528 A, Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712, USA

Restaurant

“My most favourite Poke place on the island. Unfortunately it's soo far from me and can't visit as often as I'd like and also their express shop in downtown closed. Another sad point is that they changed the location and atmosphere became so much more ... boring. I absolutely loved the former location.. Of course, the poke itself is still fabulous and that's most important.”
