“The best Luau I've been too, and I've been to many. The location was absolutely beautiful, with the backdrop of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head for sunset. The show was well put together, a great balance of entertainment throughout the evening. For dinner there was "storytelling" covering the history of the islands, with music, singing and Hula. Later, after we finished dinner, the show had a lot more energy, with Tahitian and fire knife dancing under a starry Hawaiian night sky. It was perfect! Dinner was Pacific Rim style. My kids, normally picky eaters, enjoyed the food, to my surprise. We traded a couple items but there was plenty, with nice presentation and great variety. My Mom has allergies and the chef prepared a delicious plate for her dietary restrictions. The staff did an amazing job. Our server, Grant, checked on us often was on top of any requests throughout the entire evening. The supervisor, Nicole, stopped by and took some photos of us to capture the memorable event. She was truly a joy, full of smiles and made us feel complete at ease. She was even able to find some fresh milk for my daughter. Aha 'Aina Luau was a perfect balance of entertainment, food, service for a great family event in a stunning location.”

“It must have been excellent to be a memory that has remained with me ever since September 1965 !! Moved to Honolulu from Oregon at that time as my father was to be a professor at the university of Hawaii. Upon arriving at the airport we were taken by our host to the Royal Hawaiian for dinner. What a memory - in such a plush restaurant we were served Mai Mai, French fries and peas.”

“Caught onto the YouTube channel, "The Smith Brothers," and enjoyed the lifestyle of hawaii surfing these brothers brought to the table. That's where I heard of their Sunrise Shack biz and the different locations they expanded to. I was randomly walking down the street in Waikiki and bumped into this spot. The place definitely captures the feel good atmosphere and bullet coffee was good.”

“This restaurant is overlooking the beach right next to the Sheraton. The ocean view was great. Literally sitting right next to the beach. They had some live music going as well. The server was helpful and suggested what food to order. We got the pork nachos and lemongrass chicken wings and both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! It was a bit pricey but the view and food quality made it worth it”

“Located on the second level above Poke Bar is this cute little quilt shop. They had the perfect gift for my mom. Also a great selection of upscale luxury jewelry. Friendly service that was helpful and talked us through the inventory. So glad we stopped in. Go up the escalator and walk down the balcony until it makes a slight curve. They are directly after the hallway to the restrooms.”

“Best boat tour in Waikiki. The crew is literally so good at it and made me and my family feel instantly welcome. They are professional and safety is their first concern. Beers are $2 each and Mai Tais too. It takes about 60-80 mins for the round trip. I’d recommend sitting in the back when heading out through the breakers unless you want to get a little wet. It’s so much fun and great value.”

“We shopped A LOT of stores in Waikiki but ended up buying souvenirs at this market. They were cheaper than most, the selection was better, the items appeared to be made well & it was at our hotel, very convenient. All staff were welcoming & polite every time we purchased something, even if only a drink. (We were at Aston Waikiki Beach hotel the week of 3/15/20)”

“Not only do they have so many cute swimwear and beach attire, they have Surfer friendly bikinis such as Pualani's bikinis. They also carry men's board shorts, mesh caps, T-shirts and more. I always stop by one of the stores (located at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel) to see the latest merchandise they have. Got to check them out!”

“部屋のリフォームもかなり進んでいました。部屋の鍵がシリコン製のリストバンドになっているため，滞在中は腕にはめていれば紛失の心配が無いため素晴らし案だと思いました。以前にも増してスタッフは親切なので安心して泊まれるホテルだと思います。立地的にはワイキキビーチ間近だし，ショッピングセンター等もすぐ近くに有ります。１階にはコンビニもあるし，小さなお子さんが居ても安心出来る良いホテルです。ハワイ島のシェラトンに比べると若干部屋は小さめですが，ここを拠点にワイキキを楽しむには十分すぎる広さです。因みにウォシュレットも付いています。”

“Same look and feel of the Lawson's in Japan, without some of the selection. Most, but not all of the anime potato chips, ramen, and suntory beverages were still in Japan, replaced by local faves like Hawaiian chips, poke plates, and Toro pancake mix (note: don't go to ABC store thinking they have this mix because they don't). Fun fact: this chain of convenience stores was originally American, started by Ohio dairy farmers and Consolidated Foods aka Sara Lee.”

“We have eaten at the Surf Lanai many times.......We were so lucky to have Dana as our server yesterday.....She is delightful in a way that is so rare to see. When I complimented her on her treatment to everyone she was serving, her response was all customers were treated as friends in her yard....and the restaurant was her yard.......If I was looking to hire someone in a restaurant, Dana would be at the top of my list......everything was perfect.......”
