“It is a learning curve when you get there. Make sure you have a good line of communication with your host to your condo. Mainly for finding what box is yours for your key fobs. Fobs are mainly important for elevator access. Swipe it to get in and to go up to your floor. I was very skeptical by its appearance at first but when we got to our rental…wow super nice inside. I was on the forth floor right off the elevator but I couldn’t hear the elevator much but the road noise is definitely there but I personally don’t mind it. The views are great over the ocean and the swimming is great too. I didn’t use the pool but with the warm ocean right there, I didn’t feel like I needed to. Just be ready to drive a lot if you have things planned to do in Honolulu. It’s about 40 minutes to Waikiki depending on the time of day. Even though it’s a drive there and back the views never get old. I took a different way back to the side of the island almost every day and wow those mountains don’t disappoint. Aside from that, give this place a chance. I would stay here again for sure! The only way it’ll get better is by more people staying there. I’m not a good enough surfer but if your good and want a challenge, north shore is very close by. Thank you pat’s for the memories.”

“We loved this tour so much! The captain and crew were amazing - so helpful and very kind! We saw multiple whales, lots of dolphins, sea turtles, beautiful fish, even rainbows... everything you could have wanted for our first Hawaiian boat excursion! The boat was so smooth and the food and drinks wonderful. They even had a great photographer on board and in the water to capture the trip start to finish! Would highly recommend!”

“We were there two days ago and it was rainy so hard that the traffic was so bad. The time we scheduled was supposed to be leaving at 5pm. When we arrived, Julian arranged the appropriate horses (we all know it was a bad weather and horses can be not feeling like to work some days). She was very patient and taught us how to control the horses before we leave. It was interesting to know each horse has different personalities and they could be “like middle schools” to take care of. We were not expecting to have the whole riding trail anyways as we arrived later than expected, but Julian brought us to the seaside to take photos before it got dark. And we did finish the whole trip. I love the way how the whole team was flexible enough to take us to the whole trip and work closely to make it work for us. Definitely a yes, I’d come back again. 🤗”

“We went on a two-tank shore dive at Shark’s Cove yesterday and it was one of the best dives we have ever been on. We saw multiple eels, sea turtles, and most of our small group saw a white-tip shark. The Cathedral swim through was so beautiful and it was fun swimming through the various lava tubes. I was a little hesitant at first, but then it was really fun and mesmerizing. Julian was our dive master and he was the nicest and most accommodating dive master we have dived with. He was always making sure that we were comfortable, explained everything we would be seeing, and even helped us find our camera when it got lost. I had a hard time regulating, as my ears were giving me some issues. He made sure I was okay and kept the dive very relaxed and was so helpful. I felt very comfortable the whole time. I cannot recommend Hawaii Eco Divers enough! 100% worth it! Thank you, Julian and Hawaii Eco Divers.”

“We loved our dolphin tour! Went in the afternoon and it was only slightly more money then the other massive boats and it was so nice to just be on a small personal tour. We found a spotted dolphin pod and got to put on snorkel gear to hop in with the dolphins for a couple minutes and it was magical. We also went to a turtle cleaning spot and it was so fun to snorkel with the turtles! The lunch was delicious and healthy and the crew was really knowledgeable and took fun photos of us! Overall an amazing experience and I with I had taken more photos!”

“I have to say that this was the cleanest and most comfortable lodging I've ever stayed. That's saying a lot being my girlfriend & I are world travelers. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this. It is literally fully furnished. Everything from laundry detergent to wine glasses - which both we used. The location couldn't be any better, with the beach and many local foods spots with a mile from the estate. We really, really enjoyed out stay here. “We've been coming here for about 10 years after stumbling upon this hidden gem, and what a gem it is! If you like a laid back, low key beach lifestyle, this is the place for you. Nicely remodeled apartments on a beautiful beach that is never crowded, pretty decent snorkeling, fun waters to play in, gorgeous sunsets, far away from the tourist crowds...then you must check this place out. Many will say it's in an undesirable area but we've never had any problems at all and enjoy interacting with locals instead of tourists. Not many places to eat out up here, but with a fully appointed kitchen and outdoor barbecue grills...who needs to eat out? We love watching the turtles play in the surf in the morning while we sip coffee on our lanai. Doesn't get much better than this for a relaxing time away from reality!”

“Emilie and Kenjie were *great* instructors and we had an excellent time. Neither of us had much experience with diving prior to this excursion but we both left with huge smiles on our faces and a desire to go again! Emilie was great at explaining how everything worked, how to keep safe, and how to communicate underwater. She is also easy to talk to and I had no problem asking a bunch of questions (thank you for your patience, Emilie!). By the time it was over it felt like we had just gone diving with a new friend. “Mike with underwater Oahu was great to dive with. My two daughters, aged 11 and 10 did their open water dives with him to complete their open water certification. He was so good with them and clearly understands how to work with kids. He was safe and an excellent teacher. He taught me a few things too. The equipment is clean and very functional. we had no issues. He is very prepared. He’s got a good sense of humor and showed us some fun things at Electric Beach. I will definitely dive with Underwater Oahu again next time we’re there”

“What a fantastic experience! I got engaged using Paradise Helicopters Tours and they were so easy to work with. They were discrete and professional. I felt taken care of by flying with them. I will be honest, flying in a helicopter is scarier than I thought, but the pilot remained calm throughout the entire ride and knew exactly when bumps would occur. He made sure to calmly explain everything to us and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also, it is the helicopter from Magnum PI which was cool. Having no doors added to the excitement and then being able to land in Kualoa Ranch (where they filmed Jurassic Park) just added to the whole thing. Definitely fly with them! Thank you again!”

“Shane is unbelievably amazing. He is a knowledgable and easygoing tour guide who puts a lot of love and attention into his tours. He designed a customized adventure packed day for us: Cliff jumping, standup paddle boarding, ocean view hiking and waterfalls. Snacks and water were provided throughout the day, as well as, an amazing local lunch. I cannot rave enough about Shane. Booking with Shane was the best part of our trip to Hawaii. “If you have a day in Oahu to get to know the North Shore, I highly recommend this tour! Uncle Kevin was absolutely spot-on with his recommendations and extremely knowledgeable about the island he’s called home for all of his life. We enjoyed snorkeling in shark’s cove, eating the lunch Uncle Kevin recommended (delicious!) and kayaking with the sea turtles—just where we were told we would find them. “6 of us booked a tour for 3pm. We were expecting a small boat but it was a huge amazing boat and beautiful boat! We were greeted by the hospitable Captain Steven and the owner Steve. They offered snacks as we settled down vegan food, sandwiches and fruits, different kinds of drinks. We met a shark as we moved away from the pier. The snorkeling was amazing and the crew took care of us endlessly with refreshments. Our favorite music was playing all the time. Kona Star Cruise is the most inexpensive in Honolulu! It was the best cruise in my life! So much fun! Such beautiful crew! Thank you very much! Highly recommended!”

“Canterbuty 16D was a very good place to stay at. A couple of adjustments need to be donw would be the AC most likely needs a coolant reload. The shower/tub definitely needs an upgrade. Otherwise it was a great experience the unit was pretty clean and as advertised aside for the 2 items mentioned above. The security team in the lobby was the best. Definitely would go back if dates were available and would recommend this place.”
