“You know I can never go wrong eating at Kentucky fried Chicken it's not the greatest place in the world to eat but it's good you don't feel like you ask for your money back when you finish eating. I have to say though it's the most complicated menu that I've ever ordered from and I think it's designed that way so you don't know you're paying too much so I just asked the staff this is what I want what's the cheapest way to buy it and they helped you out really nice people. Only thing is it's a little hard to tell how long something's been cooked but take out of course and I enjoyed it I would eat there again.”

“I have to admit, I was a little skeptical going inside, especially two steps in when my shoes were sticking to the floors. It seemed dark and just not really inviting. They took temperatures before seating, which was nice and reassuring during these times. Within a minute they came around with waters and menus. There was only 1 other table with customers at the time but service remained quick. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING! Definitely worth a stop!”

“Located at the Kaimana Beach Hotel which recently got a new owner this place I believe will become a hot spot for locals and trendy adventurist. I was surprised at how bustling it was and also running into many people I would know. The view of the Hau tree, sunsets and the beach along with the open air provide for a nice happy hour or dinner during this Covid era. The food was as expected from this well known chef. The drink select could be expanded more but with the short turn around time on the ownership change I think we will see more as time moves on. Parking is a challenge but there is valet at $10. You can opt around the park but expect to wait as the park is crowded.”

“The delicious food has never changed for 50+ years that I visited them as a child to now retired. Usually, the cooks move on and the economy goes up so changes happen, but it didn't affect them. The only negative thing was their famous "marinated chicken" came out soggy during the busiest time, when "did not" have this pandemic. But now, every time I order it's as crispy as I had it as a teenager. Not that I'm for this pandemic, everyone is hurting; but I would still eat at " Sekiya's" until I no longer can.”

“I love this place because of the chefs - especially a gentleman named Kieron. Trade secret: Always ask who's in the kitchen that evening. His style is understated where he demands the flavors of the food speak for themselves and enhanced only to bring out regional nuances where the food came from. We had scallops from Maine, caviar from Russia (or Western Alaska), and beef from Japan... all he prepared so carefully with love as if he's preparing it for his mother's last meal on her last birthday as she floats into eternity. He could cook for titans of the culinary industry or for Presidents.”

“Best Subway restaurant in the franchise! The restaurant is small, but there are outside tables as well, and it inside is always neat and clean and well-stocked. The management is great because they make an effort to hire local students, and the kids are very friendly, attentive, and polite. Unless you're incapable of a coherent order, you're going to get the sandwich you want. (I've seen some of the other customers, and they're idiots. I'm glad I don't have to put up with them, only wait in line behind them!) The staff also make a real effort to remember and recognize the regular customers.”
