“I stayed at this lodging for two weeks of coronavirus quarantine and the room was simple, but clean, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of towels. Building staff are kind, and the rooms, at least mine, got great cross ventilation. It was always very comfortable. There’s also a microwave and a fridge.”

“Have not been here for a movie but have been for meetings and to see local plays. The building is older but the seats are nice and the sound inside is decent. They have a snack bar available for movies and the exchange is right next door if you'd like to purchase a drink and snack for the plays.”

“Jon and his crew put a new wood shake roof on our house in East Honolulu in the early 1980's, they have been coming out doing maintenance work and applying an oil preservative treatment every four years, as well as taking care of the flat roofs. The roof is still going strong after all those years! They are very professional and knowledgeable about roofing, I would highly recommend them.”

“Emilie and Kenjie were *great* instructors and we had an excellent time. Neither of us had much experience with diving prior to this excursion but we both left with huge smiles on our faces and a desire to go again! Emilie was great at explaining how everything worked, how to keep safe, and how to communicate underwater. She is also easy to talk to and I had no problem asking a bunch of questions (thank you for your patience, Emilie!). By the time it was over it felt like we had just gone diving with a new friend. She also mentioned that she certifies people if you're looking to go that route!”

“A medium size care home with about 30 residents, 1 nurse, and 3 aides on duty. Great place to work and everyone from medical director Dr. Balasz on down is helpful and cheerful. Nice gardens and lawn around the property. No outside visitors at this time due to coronavirus restrictions; agency staff such as PT and nurses allowed. I look forward to returning at a future date. Cons: during heavy storms on New Years' Eve there were several leaks in the lanai ceiling and roof.”

We were overseas tourists and my son lost his high powered glasses in a tidal wave when swimming. Dr. Fong's team went out of their way to help my son with getting emergency contact lenses that helped us till we got home. Thank you for your kindness and all you help!”

“I own a 1992 JDM diesel land cruiser. Shortly after picking it up from the port, the diesel injection pump sprung a serious leak. After being turned away by 2 other mechanics, I found Sam’s shop. He immediately got me in touch with an excellent diesel mechanic who could remove the pump and re-install. Sam had the rebuild kit on hand, and he restored the pump back to new to factory specs. Communication was excellent. True experts in diesel injection pumps and turbos. Highly recommended.”

“On April 19th my hearing aid died while visiting from Oregon. After calling some of my hearing aid dealers on the mainland, I was given the number to Russell Hearing Aids. April 20th, my girlfriend called and spoke with Russ. I asked her to ask what he'd charge for cleaning. He replied "No charge, come in and I'll see if I can fix it" I replied to her after they hung up, "They still exist"! (Meaning the old school hearing aid dealer) It baffles me to see hearing aid dealers charging $25 - $30 to change tubes while most tubes cost less than a buck and change each. We showed up to meet him and he was welcoming and indeed he was old school. Russ spent 2 hours of his time with me trying to repair my aid and going through old aids to loan me and finally found something to help me through the rest of the trip. Russ is the person that every child and every person new to hearing loss should visit. Not because of his knowledge, but, because of the man he is and the fact that he cares more than others . Words cannot express how thankful I was to have found and met him.”
