“Hole in the wall Filipino restaurant in Whitmore Village. Aesthetically it's not the cutest place but that's how you know there's gonna be some good, authentic, homemade food in there. First time here even though I'm a Wahiawa native. They sell ala cart, by the plate, and platters. It looks like lots of people ordered ahead for platters which I will also do myself the next time. I went a couple hours before closing so the food didn't look fresh but we enjoyed it. Salty and savory food that hits the spot and wear something comfy cause it'll definitely be kanaks after.”

“Our waiter Thomas was excellent. Even though he was bartender and had all the tables he still managed to check on us often. Food came out perfectly timed so we didn't get everything at once. The salmon was tender, moist and flavorful. The whiskey chicken sandwich was big and delicious. With the chips and salsa the chips were warm. On the appetizer the mozzarella sticks the cheese was warm, boneless wings were tender and the potato skins were perfect. Great birthday lunch.”

“One of the best places on the islands for pizza! Thin crust baked to perfection. Crunchy edge, yet delicate. Very flavorful, carrying an array of delicious toppings straight into my belly 😋 Biggest slices of pepperoni I’ve ever seen! My youngest boy was in heaven and so was I 😄 it was worth the drive from west side. I can’t wait to try the sandwiches! I grew up on the East Coast, so this is gonna be a great comparison 😎🤙🏼”

I have had bad experiences in the past due to my anxiety but Kevin was so friendly and patient with me and helped call my dog back inside when she ran out of my door (socially distanced). “Wahiawa Zippys dine in has always been great! I never have issues with the dine in. The servers are always friendly. We were so happy when they opened up dine in. To protect everyone, you have to use your phone when you get there to check in. Someone will come out and bring you in. You have to take your temperature and then they will find you a seat. There is shields up on all tables. It's great! Food is always delicious... Breakfast is when we normally go. Thank you for taking care of us all the dine in servers! The only reason I gave a 4 star is because of the outside take out or pick up windows... I don't like some of the attitudes of the women. They need to change their attitudes. I pick up orders and sometimes they can have attitudes but most of the time they are nice. I will still continue to go.”
