We immediately fell in love with leo at the meet and greet and loved leo even more when he became part of our family. I was also grateful beyond measures that the owners were so kind and tremendously helpful when my family and I had to leave the island for a family vacation and they took leo and watched him while we were away. Going thru the adoption process was easy and they walked us thru each step. Like I mentioned it was our first pet adoption and they made us feel comfortable thru out the whole process. My family and I are blessed to know such good,caring, loving people that Kat and Pat are not just for the public but for the love of these animals.”

“Mike with underwater Oahu was great to dive with. My two daughters, aged 11 and 10 did their open water dives with him to complete their open water certification. He was so good with them and clearly understands how to work with kids. He was safe and an excellent teacher. He taught me a few things too. The equipment is clean and very functional. we had no issues. He is very prepared. He’s got a good sense of humor and showed us some fun things at Electric Beach. I will definitely dive with Underwater Oahu again next time we’re there”

“Overall have enjoyed staying here. The staff are friendly, the property is in good condition, the beachfront is great. The reason for only 4 stars is not the facility, but the time it takes to get to the rest of the island. Rush "hour" is bad. If you book an early time anywhere and do not want to worry about being late. Plan on leaving 2 hours ahead of time. It may only take you 70 minutes, but could take the full two hours+. So recommendation is to leave after 8:30. We did have an issue with the refrigerator. Called the office and in 15 minutes, Tom was at our room working on the fridge. Again, the staff are great!!! If I was going to do my vacation again, I would book a few days in Honolulu and the rest of the time here.”

I have found and excepted Jesus Christ as My Lord and Savior on March 25th,1980. with Sunday School Teacher Meilani McComber, Water Baptized on April 20th,1980., by Pastor Noboru Ayabe, Rededicated My Life to The Lord on March 26,1982. During M.Y.F. Camp @ Camp Erdman, Mokuleia and got Married on August 13th, 1988., by Pastor Thomas Kahawai to My Husband while attending Nanaikapono Protestant Church. “Its beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets but I don't swim there because of high bacteria tests. I'm sure its better further toward the base or "Rest Camp" even closer to the "Beach House 604." The water moves in and out much more than by the breakwaters so I feel its cleaner. Otherwise a very nice beach for children and non- swimmers.”

“The Starbucks at the Waianae mall is no longer alone. Welcome to the new addition. It's a drive-thru and a walk-up. I don't think I've ever been to a walk-up only Starbucks before. No inside seating. No bathroom. The outside is nice with some seats. Covered with trestles(I think?). I hope they get some plants on those eventually. Experience? Fantastic. It's Starbucks. I love the coffee. The guy who helped me was super nice and the drink was delicious. And... this Starbucks has gotta have one of the best views of any Starbucks on the planet!”

“Makaha Beach Cabanas was a wonderful place to stay. We really enjoyed the view right out the back door. We arrived at night so we couldn't see what we were in for. It was amazing waking up to the ocean. Best experience of my life. Will definitely be staying there again next time we plan our trip. Although the tides were a little strong for children to be swimming in. It was a great get away for an adult vacation.”

“5/16/22- I don’t have enough words to praise the entire crew, everyone was so accommodating and just wanted to make your experience special. We saw a huge pod of dolphins, never seen anything like it before, they came right up close!! Also we were so glad we opted for the dolphin watch+snorkel tour because the snorkel was absolutely fantastic and this coming from someone who doesn’t know how to swim. They even go to the floor of the ocean and pick up a starfish for you to hold and touch which was again such an experience. Both Laura and Jake were such great sports and the best guides to have while on water. We can’t wait to come back!”
