“I love writing reviews because they help people determine whether or not they should take a chance on it or pass it up. So I decided to write our experience. We are a military family. We signed our lease for 1 year. After our lease we did month to month since we only had 3 months left on island. When we signed our lease we were a family of 5 and a cat. We got a 2 bedroom and it worked out well for us. Then we found out we were expecting so we added another to the family in our small apartment but we made it work. Pros of the apartments: we have stores right across from us. I loved having Walmart/Times in walking distance. Run out of something while cooking? Pop on over to Times. Like I loved it. Maintenance was always fast and sufficient for us. Depending on the time we called with a problem, maintenance would either come that same day or bright and early the next morning. We only had a problem with our tub not draining, our toilet running & our washer leaking. All got fixed and never had problems after that. It’s quiet here for the most part. It’s a mix of locals and military. We got to know our neighbors around us. After a while everyone starts looking out for each other and I loved that. Never really had any problems here. The only cons I would say are centipedes. We lived on the bottom floor so idk if that played a role. Two ended up crawling in bed with us and biting my husband so that was an experience. It became like an everyday thing where the would literally walk in through our front door liked they owned the place lol. I started spraying our door once a week with raid and then we seen the centipedes less so I guess that worked 🤔. We had three geicos which I didn’t mind because my cat took care of them. Ants were a big problem when we first moved in as well but ant traps solved that. Roaches come and go as the please as well but if you really think about it, we live on an island. There’s going to be bugs everywhere you go. Overall we had a good experience. If we moved back on island and back to the apartments I’d probably request the second floor but other then that we enjoyed our stay!”
