“On a gamble I stopped by during my first and only visit to Oahu, just to see if I could bag a sweet deal on a clearance wetsuit for the NZ waters. Turned out to be my lucky day, as I got an awesome suit for a killer price. I didn't have time to scan through the whole selection of suits on the regular price racks, so can't really comment on that. But based on the clearance section alone, the selection is immense and quite comprehensive. Womens' size 8 in abundance, mens' sizes are a bit more hit and miss, but I'd definitely check them out if you're ever in the area. They also have frequent sales on the regular merchandise (according to their facebook page), so if you're in the market, this is the place to start.”

“This station has had 3 name changes in a short while. Used to be an Aloha station and it was changed to Chevron and most recently since the acquisition of Chevron by Island Energy Services, the station is being rebranded as a Texaco as of 5/31/17. IES did not upgrade the old pumps from Aloha as they have done for a number of their Chevron stations but the Palisades Minimart is clean and the staff friendly. They do not accept contactless payments (Android Pay, Apple Pay) at pump or in the convenience store.”

“I had my A unit cleaned by Cory, two years in a row, and I got to say that you need more employees like him out in the field, he very courteous professional. The last person I had before him did not do a very good job. He did not even take a look at my unit outside to clean it or inspect it. Thank you Cory for a job well done.”

“First off, Tasia is most pleasant to communicate with via email & once you meet in person you truly feel like you're friends. Her response rate is impeccable as you will find that is not always the case with native islanders & being that I planned my wedding from the main land, this took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders. She checked in on me throughout the entire process & even kept up with my school schedule which I found admirable; she really took the time to get to know me. She runs her business with great detail & organization. As far as her day of service, we were absolutely pleased. She superseded my expectations; Tasia made "East Coast Productions, The DJ" a full service wedding go-to. Not only did they provide our music but she arrived with a head piece on, found me & introduced herself with a helpful demeaner. She covered some basics with me and let me know she'd be checking in with me throughout the day for anything I needed. She took initiative and moved my cake centerstage for cutting & helped around the venue as she saw fit. Carlos did his thing on the one's & two's and Tasia helped direct my entire event; my guests thought she was the Day-Of Coordinator. We would definitely seek "East Coast Productions, The DJ" again, should we find ourselves hosting another event at the gathering place, Oahu.”

“Top notch knowledge and customer service. Honest and cares about the bike! Came for potential bad battery which it turned out to be and an oil change. Ted took care to look the bike over and adjust a few things here and there at no cost. Bike feels like new. Been coming here sine being referred by a friend and this is the only place I get my bike serviced now.”

“Americano topped with salted carmel foam 😇 so good! The store is an island location, you get island amenities. No need for plug ins... I'm grateful for the beautiful views ✨️ Fate brought me here today. I didn't have the best previous experiences and I didn't think I'd be back at all. However, I was and even sat outside and enjoyed nature. 🧿🌺 I met a new friend too! 🌞🌺😇”

“Walked in to Timmy T's and had the #9 Italian. This has to be the best sandwich shop in Kailua for sure. Great people making a great sandwich. Wasn't cheap, but 2 people could have enjoyed this heavy weight winner. I highly recommend this establishment and hope you will check them out soon and support a Locally owned small business.”

“+ 7 ⭐️ This mainlander staying in Punaluu, Hawaii frequents this hub of the community usually twice per day. The staff is the very best in Hawaiian courtesy and hospitality. As a hub this location is extremely busy but the ladies never falter and have a great rhythm going and get customers out in a timely manner with an Aloha for each customer coming in and exiting. I buy groceries here. The bananas are the best deal yet. Aloha and mahalo ladies”

“Stopped by this place on the way to Sunset beach. We walked right up to the counter and in seconds the line grew quick. Best Portuguese sausage we’ve had on the island. Pies have local flavors only found in Hawaii. All yum! Outdoor seating plentiful. There’s additional shaded seating across the parking lot that is cooler and away from the main area. Staff was efficient.”

“There is so much to explore in this garden. I never realized the variety of plants that can thrive in our local urban environment. I pass this garden everyday and always wondered about it while on the freeway. I finally had the chance to go and it did not disappoint. Yes, some things are not as accessible because they are renovating. There's also some areas that need a little more care. However, access to the garden is free and is largely maintained by volunteers. When I see the volume of work to be done, I am amazed at the amount of time and dedication that is lovingly given to this center. Stop by and take a stroll through the gardens and smell the flowers. It does get hot and some of the areas are not even, so you may want to wear shoes and bring an umbrella. I forgot, but did just fine with my slippers and a piece of paper to shade my head. Just be aware of the visiting hours.”
