“I have been coming here since High School- when it was Nam King. So, I decided to try “the new place”. I’m glad I did. The dumplings were great, fried rice good and the pork stuffed chicken was tasty. Very friendly fast service with a slight language challenge on my part. It’s so much cleaner here now. Nice music for ambiance. I will be back with friends.”

“Went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday with family. I've been meaning to try this place for a while, but never for around to it til now. Food was great, filet was cooked perfectly. We were seated quickly as it wasn't very crowded I had made reservations especially after reading some other reviews about others experiencing long waits. I think we chose a good time/day to come. “I have lived in Boise for 14 years and Parrilla has always held a little place in my heart, back in 206-2007 the bar was actually outside, in the winter they would put heaters out for the patrons to watch football and drink in the open air. I have to admit, I was a little sad when they remodeled it to its current state. Their food however, has not changed, and that’s a good thing. It is delicious, fresh, unique and amazing. The prices have also remained unchanged which is welcome in a neighborhood where everything has become over priced. I have lived in the East End and the North End during my time in Boise and I have always enjoyed a short walk or bike ride to Parrilla for their massive burritos, or their amazing carne asada taco. Thursday have a $1 beer $1 taco special that can make an ordinary evening into an inexpensive adventure however you will have to fight for a seat. This place is one of the best in Boise. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Oh, and don’t hesitate to stop in in your way to work or for a weekend treat for their breakfast menu. I suggest one hump two hump! It’s goooooood!!!”

“Modest price for large portions and delicious food. Around $15 for a bacon cheeseburger with fixings, side of fresh, thick-cut fries, and a drink. A couple of fries and I was wondering how I was going to finish. A single bite of the burger told me I would be defeated this time. I barely finished the burger and crammed a few more fries in the space between my stomach and mouth. Beef: fresh, thick patty cooked to order. Juicy and flavorful Fries: fresh, thick cube-cut fried in magic. Each is crispy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside. Paired with some cold ketchup or sauce... I’m hungry again.”

I mean I get it, I'm sure Subway's not the most fun place to work, but sometimes the attitude I get from them here is a bit offputting. I thought that was very nice of them. They walked us back to our booth which was very secluded from everyone else. The food was very good but not excellent to me. I thought some of the portions were a bit small but other than that we enjoyed our evening very much. Will I go back? I’m not sure.”
