“Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. Great place to enjoy with family, friends or just by yourself for a nice meditation walk. It's just sad to see that there usually trash left behind, it is not just teenagers but also some adults that don't respect public places and don't clean up after their dogs.”

“Big park. Lots of grass . Play ground. Swings. snow cones. Skate boarding park. Baseball field. Baseball hoops. Big dumpster for trash . Lots of parking.”

“We are staying in the park during the winter months as we live off grid during the spring and summer months and it has been great. Anytime we have had any issues (ie.frozen water) it was taken care of right away and they went above and beyond to make sure it would not happen again. Everyone is very nice to work with. Every time it snows the park is plowed so we don't have to worry about getting stuck. It's also a great place to see some wildlife, we have deer and elk that come through all the time our dogs love to watch them. The only con I have is there is no dumpster at this time for trash so we have to go to the dump which right now is difficult because of the snow. But we love living here in the park in Garden Valley/Crouch area.”

“Nice RV campground for a few nights. Starlight Theater next door was a nice surprise and a fun show for an evening. Expect the added sounds from the evening show and associated theater camp activities. Keep in mind, this campground only has a community water spigot and no dump site. NOTE: Lots of construction activity and noise in Mid-July '23...you may wish to check before you go.”

“One of our family's favorite places to take the kids in the summer! Better play structures than Settlers Park splash pad. I love the zip line!”

“My wife, our 5 kids, and I had a great time at Curtis park. It was our first time and were already making plans to go back. This park is like no other. It has a 1 lane dirt road off of the main road hat leads to a locked gate. You have to call the number on the sign. You have to drive to the Caldwell Parks and Recreation office to leave a $20 deposit Nd get the key. But for your work you get access to a beautiful park with just your family. Our German Shepherd Zues and our St Benard Fluffy ran and ran. There is a large open area in front of wherw you park. There are restrooms behind that area. There was a beautiful raised walking deck path that stretched back beyond the woods ans water. Many cows in the field to the east for the kids to look at. There was also several fire rings? BBQ's, benchs, and 2 swings for the kids. This place is covered with large trees and dense brush and plants. The wind sounds so beautiful blowing through. Just a beautiful place.”

“A well maintained multi-functional park along the Greenbelt bicycle track on the south side of Boise River. Easy access from Parkcenter Boulevard. Sufficiently spacious field for many activities such as soccer practice. Nice playground and courts of sand volleyball, basketball, and tennis.”

“Nice, quiet park. Been here several times, usually only 1 or 2 people with their kids. Lots of open space and trees if you have dogs. I wouldn't recommend letting off leash as it's not fenced and there is a somewhat busy street on one side. It's right next to a school. 1 tree parking lot nobody seems to ever park under, so good for napping! They have individual bathrooms which are nice and clean. Sign outside says they auto lock after 7pm.”

“Jerusalem is just east of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho and is the most beautiful, pristine place! The campground is absolutely gorgeous, and is a perfect base camp for soaring over and among the mountain tops and majestic trees of Jerusalem Valley with Zip Idaho. We enjoyed whitewater rafting at Cascade Rafting, eating at the made-from-scratch restaurants in Horseshoe Bend, and jumping off the train trestle bridge to begin an easy lazy float down the lower main of the Payette River among the deer and the eagles.”

“Nice park in a fairly new Meridian subdivision. They hold various soccer, football and dog training classes here. The park has a robust playground, huge flat field, and great restroom facilities. There is even a walking trail on the perimeter. It is about 2 blocks from the new Costco as well. The only downsides are the lack of mature trees or a shaded area on a hot day and limited parking while those classes are going on.”

“Nice scenc drive up to this point, but last couple miles are dusty dirt road. Saw Oregon Trail ruts and lots of wild flowers along the route. Pit toilet is a benefit.”

“It was a good overnight spot in an absolutely gorgeous location right off of the highway. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were disappointed that we were put in a spot with no sewer hook-up. It wasn't discussed when I made the reservation and wrongly assumed that we had one. The park was about empty when here, so I think full hook-up spots were available, and could probably have switched, but by the time we realized it, we didn't wish to move. No big deal. Laundry and showers were available, though we didn't use them and fast wifi (Starlink, I think, as we saw dishy on the outside of the store), which we did use. We were happy to not have to set up our own Starlink dish since we were here just one night. The store was a huge bonus. We were surprised to find a lovely chilled, dry rose wine from CA for a reasonable price and enjoyed it immensely. They have all kinds of gift items, including jewelry available for sale. Nice stuff. Also, food such as you would expect to find at any gas station affiliated place: hotdogs, pizza, snacks. We were hoping for more in the way of food offerings, but it didn't matter, as we had our own. They had an excellent candy store, with homemade chocolates, fudge, old fashioned candies and ice cream. How delightful! Lattes too!! This is a pleasant location for an overnight stay. It was clean and well- maintained. We wouldn't want to hang outside with all of the mosquitos, but we didn't need to. I would absolutely stay here again if were were on our way through.”

“My grandkids are playing soccer at Foote Park in Middleton. This is a huge park. This park is for soccer, baseball, frisbee golf, there is a splash pad. This park is well maintained. They do need additional restrooms it's a long walk to the restrooms if you're on the far north side of the park.”

“Awesome experience! Lovely display of mature iris. Enjoyable hour walk.”
Address: 9110 W Chinden Blvd, Meridian, ID 83646, USA
“UPDATE June 2020: Wow! All of the irises are beautiful, healthy plants. Put in two orders for this season. I have included some photo of the blooms, enjoy. FIRST REVIEW: Plants arrived in superb packaging, healthy with clean roots and larger than expected. Will give a more complete update once the items bloom next year. Liked the variety and price, plus the bonus Iris was a nice add on.”

“This is a pretty nice soccer complex. One complaint would be the lack of parking for the far eastern side of the park. This spring season, they did grade a small parking area that began to improve the parking problems. Closer bathrooms would be nice. The paved path throughout is nice. The shade trees are great and will keep getting better. The fields are very well taken care of which is nice to play on. It looks like they are in the process of doing some other improvements.”

“Managers very accommodating and helpful as well as very pleasant. I came up to go Elk Hunting and needed a place to stay for a few nights. The room was perfect….clean and comfortable. It snowed heavily and it was very cold….a warm shower, a warm room and a comfortable bed couldn’t be better. The Idaho City Hotel is a wonderful 100 year old hotel in a community with an amazing history. The managers Tara and Rob provide the perfect atmosphere when visiting this historic community. Check in and stay awhile, you won’t regret it. Tom”

“Too bad Boise Parks and Rec didn't check the quality of the volleyball sand before they signed off on it. It's full of dust and nearly unplayable. Everything else about this park is pure heaven. Mature trees, grassy fields, basketball courts, tennis and pickle ball court. Picnic structure is shady and huge to accommodate multiple medium sized groups or a larger community event. Playground is modern and new with rubber safety ground cover.”
Address: 15200 S 10th Ave, Caldwell, ID 83607, USA
“Super cute park with a walking path. Close to the lake but not on it, so no waterfront views. Playground for the kids and several covered picnic tables for eating. Super.clean and well maintained with good parking. Disc golf course too. Only downside, not much shade, so be sure to bring sunscreen. Update - this place gets windy!! Be sure to bring a hat, scarf and gloves to walk here in the winter. Place was deserted on a Saturday morning in early December, my guess is the weather is a bit of a deterrent.”
