“My wife and I were gifted a glass blowing class from our daughter for our birthdays. We have attended other glass blowing classes elsewhere but they had never been hands on. Not so for this class. We made six tree ornaments, from choosing the colors, through heating, blowing and tempering. Leslie was our instructor and she was great! She explained the process, key visuals to watch for during the process and demonstrated. She them coached each of us (8 total in the class) through making our first ornament before turning us loose to make the rest on our own. My wife and I only managed to get 5 ornaments because we blew a little to hard on one each and were left with large flexible glass bubbles. (Two videos attached show our yellow and blue fails) Cool to see and experience in person but very delicate and don't survive handling. What a great experience overall! We will be back! Highly recommend!!!”

“This shop has been on my bucket list for a few years and I finally got the chance to stop by in early September. What can I say - I don't go to the city very often! In any case, it is located in the historic Deagan Building and you need to be buzzed in. Luckily, there is plenty of free parking on Ravenswood - not subject to Richie Daley's stupidest parting gift to the city - the overpriced pay boxes. Emilia has a fantastic sense of style and has curated a wonderful collection of designer clothing, shoes, and accessories in superb condition. It's an enjoyable place to shop, even if you're only browsing. I particularly loved the designer purses and shoes. And Emilia is super nice - I didn't feel like a second-class citizen like I do when I shop at Blake and Ikram. While I didn't purchase anything, I enjoyed taking photos and I'd consign with her in a heartbeat. This delightful shop is well worth a visit for every fashionista who appreciates barely used or never worn haute couture.”

“The last 2 times (which coincidentally are the only 2 times) I've been to this store, have had customer service that rivals EVERYONE! Am I going insane? Did I just say customer service by Comcast/Xfinity was amazing?? Yes... yes I did! Right off the bat, I'm greeted, conversed with like a human being, and given genuine smiles. These people not just show an amazing side of Comcast, but prove what good customer service can do! Walking in and looking around, you'll notice what I did; these employees love their jobs and talk to you like a friend or neighbor. These aren't robots, folks! I came to exchange my 1st generation X1 voice remote for the newest black one and the exchange literally took 20 seconds. No account pull up needed, no ID required, no BS. Quick, simple, and easy. On top of that, my agent/employee was able to come up with definitive answers on the fly with no "I guess" or "I think". Knowledgeable AND friendly? Did Comcast just do a 180°?? Or is it just that this store trains it's employees to be the best? No clue, but I am totally recommending this place to my friends and relatives. Oh, and the store was clean, well stocked, and well designed. But wow, that customer service though... so good..”

“I always come here for basic necessities and simple groceries. They're typically well stocked and have basics like eggs, milk, juice, and dry foods. They even have packaged sausage, deli meats, and a pretty decent liquor selection. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The same homeless guy is always outside, but he's never bothered me. Its a well lit area with plenty of traffic, so I feel safe going in and out, even at night.”
