  This place is amazing! I was in Chicago for the summer and this was my first Bouldering Gym and they blew my expectations away. Really awesome routes, solid location and friendly staff that really went the extra mile when I had an issue with my account. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Chicago again. Can't recommend them enough.

  Huge fan of the routes and the yoga classes. There is also an entire gym that is hardly ever overly populated. There is a wide array of routes for all levels of climbers. I also greatly appreciate the expertise of the route setting team, and their commitment to keeping everything new and fresh!

  Been a member for about a month now, and I go almost every weekday. Amazing place filled with the friendliest folks.

  Best bouldering gym in Chicago! Great for those just starting out to seasoned climbers pushing V10. Every Tuesday and Thursday new problems are set. Access to full gym with cardio, free weights and resistance bands. Lockers to safely secure personal items and cubbies to easily access and store gear. Yoga classes are great for all experience levels and are on great before and after work. Would definitely recommend for small or large groups to try something new and different.

  This First Ascent bouldering-centric location is great. The main area is a wide, cavernous space on the second floor with plenty of problems to go around, even during crowded times. Free temporary lockers with digital locks are on the ground floor.  Staff is super nice. If it's your first time, definitely fill out your online waiver ahead of time and expect a brief in-person orientation by the staff to show you around and relay the requisite safety precautions. Paid metered parking along the front street if you're lucky to snag one.
