“Sweet n brew is true to its name. They have a good selection of gelato flavors and tantalizing drinks, hot or cold. We love the desserts and still have to try the crepes. We’re told by the staff they are derived from a family recipe. They have a nice outdoor patio that allowed us to enjoy our treats outside on a nice summer evening. “My go to Popeye’s during lunch. Way better than a different t location I went to. This place has been my favorite spot for fried chicken and their pretty consistently juicy and more flavor chicken sandwich . Food was so fresh. The employees here are very commendable, very fast, attentive and going extra mile to deliver your orders. So far this is the fastest serving Popeye’s I have experienced. I will definitely be back for more great service. This store should serve as an example for the other Popeye’s stores. This location is consistently doing a great job. Will be bringing everyone I know.”

“I have yet to try the pizza (which has won a local award). The pool tables are pretty popular and there were more than enough tables for a friday night crowd. Didn't see anyone play the slots(the town has been getting too many slot cafés).The drinks were often missing their garnish. Fries were pretty good with cheese dip. They do have an in-house cocktail menu that covers the general taste preferences. I enjoyed a Cucumber-Melon-Lime type of drink.”

“OMG when I tell you I can’t get enough of this place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greater by a cashier with a smile (love that). Everything on the menu looks tasty and it actually is tasty so good luck making a decision. “Always love to stumble upon a 60 year institution. November 2019 will be their 60th anniversary, with the current family operating it for 54 years. Don't worry there's another generation poised to take the helm. Their German Dutch Apple Baked Pancake was featured on Chicago's Best TV. I was tempted to try it, but with it being my first visit and biscuits and gravy on special, I fell prey. I wasn't disappointed! Large platter of comfort food is hard to pass up. Old school charm and there's even a gift shop. Booths can be tricky to get out of.”
