“I can't say enough good things about Bloomingdale's Cleaners! Not only are they friendly (they always remember us), on time and reasonably priced - they worked magic on my wedding dress! I had packaged my dress away after getting married and moving multiple times and had never gotten it cleaned/sealed (we're talking 6.5 years). I finally took it in to them (to get my mother off my back) with little hope that it would ever be restored to it's former glory. I was shocked - it looked like new! They got out 6.5 year old mud from my train and some brown water spots on the lace that I assume were from my poor packaging in the basement these past years. I couldn't believe it. They also had me come back after the cleaning/pressing to look it over before they packaged & preserved it. Talk about incredible service - most places just package it up and you hope it's been done correctly. First time I've ever raved about a dry cleaner, but they are truly incredible! We'll use them again and again!”

“I really enjoyed my experience here. They re-did the whole bar, I'm not sure how many years ago but I hadn't been back since the remodel. The remodel made the bar look even more clean and crisp but still offered the friendly hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. They still have their pool tables which is awesome! They also have TV's and music. The people were friendly as well. My type of place!”

“Abashiri is my favorite place for sushi in the suburbs. Their sushi is delicious and their spicy tuna is so good you can taste the spicy. There are other places I’ve tried, but this spicy tuna is by far my favorite since you can really taste it’s flavor. It’s nice and cozy inside and the service is great. I enjoy their food and the different varieties of rolls they have to offer. Adding on, the prices are super affordable. I’m definitely coming back to this place and it is now my go to spot for sushi. You MUST check this place out. I give this place 5 stars!!!!”

“The wonderful team at Lakeview, and its sister location in Arlington Heights, Waverly Inn, came to my rescue after an unnecessarily awful residence at an Arlington Heights area eldercare community. The Waverly & Lakeview Care Professionals -- shout out to Dollie, Courtney, Jennifer & Rod -- showered my Mom with compassion and a sincere interest in securing the absolute best placement for her. They proved to me that they BELIEVED in her, and wanted the opportunity to provide her with the quality of living she deserved, and that would help her live a full and productive life. Sadly, the place she previously called home for more than a year gave up on her, and essentially shuttled her to the lowest common denominator of care after a brief hospitalization, with the staff treating me like a nuisance instead of a loving and strong advocate for my Mom. Her treatment at her former assisted living facility nearly broke her spirit.Since moving to Lakeview (as we awaited the opening of Waverly), she has blossomed, and returned to the person she was before her hospitalization. The team at Lakeview has been amazing and has provided me relief after fighting daily with the previously facility to ensure my Mom received even a tenth of the car she deserved. The Care Professionals at Lakeview & Waverly see my Mom as a whole person deserving of love and respect, where the former care facility set zero expectations for her mental, physical and emotional development, and was content to keep her wheelchair bound (even though she is fully ambulatory) because it was easier for the staff. I felt listened to and HEARD by the Care Professionals at Lakeview & Waverly ... it was a refreshing and much-appreciated change. Lakeview & Waverly are beautiful, clean, well appointed, well-staffed, and the Care Professionals do an excellent job keeping the residents engaged, active and social. My Mom loves all the various programs, and especially loves the many musical performers who come to share their talent with the residents. I appreciate the individualized attention my Mom receives, and the proactive status updates the Care Professionals provide me. I will be forever grateful Dollie, Rod, Courtney & Jennifer rescued my Mom.”
