“This place is nostalgic. Sure, some can say it needs updated & remodeled, but I like the old time feel to it. Majority of the workers are great & always work as fast as they can. Sometimes they are understaffed when it gets busy & things take longer. This is where people need to remember it’s only 1 person...they can only do so much. The food is made to order so always hot & fresh. I read somewhere on here an old employee said the ice cream is recycled! ???? it definitely is NOT. blizzard cup has been broken before, they always place a new cup over it so as not to get everywhere. Some of the employees could use some enthusiasm, but what matters is they wait on the customers & get the job done! If you enjoy small town, small business restaurants, & want an old timey feel, with great food, stop on by! But I must ask, if you don’t live in watseka, what in the h e * * are you doing there?! Hahaha”

“We had the most AMAZING and do extremely sweet and helpful waitress , never had to ask for refills. Always checked on us and was so down to earth, and such a big beautiful smile, the food was promptly served. “A family favorite for decades! We always go to Monical's at least once whenever we are in town. My husband's hometown and mine both have Monical's so we are both happy to visit. We love the thin and truly crispy but flavorful crust and the Family Pleaser with the big bowl of salad and the pitcher of soda! Monica's is what a pizza joint should be and is a great Illinois and especially, a Watseka tradition!”
