“Gave 4 stars because the food is really good each time we've visited. Great beer selection, too. However, the service is very hit or miss. Twice it's been great and 3 times it's been terrible. Had to go to bar for silverware and drinks b/c server dropped off food and never returned. Another time, had to go ask server for check (after sitting at table for 15 minutes after everyone was finished eating). Recommended sitting at the bar... that's where we've had the best service.”

“Local restaurants going the franchise route. I grew up in the city where beef shops and who had the best food was as controversial as any political discussion. This one could have held its own in those discussions. I had the combo with hot peppers. The beef was tender and spicy, the bread was fresh and very good. The gardinar was a bit mild but adequate. They were very helpful and enthusiastic about this new eatery give it a try.”
