“Nice combination of open space and shaded areas for the dogs. It also has several distinct zones and is equipped with “time out” areas, which is nice idea. However a few notes: Bring your own water and waste bags as there is no fountain and the waste bag dispensers were empty during our visit.”

“Definitely can't complain about the local mountain bike trail. They are expanding and truly make it a great staple for a place to ride in the burbs”

“I love the raceway woods, but it should be noted that on the east side it's a very steep walk in either direction. So, if your bringing your kids, or have difficulty climbing steep slopes, I recommend parking on the west side parking area. It's an easier and shorter climb up and relatively flat once your on top. Two other things: if you ride bikes, that's great, but please be aware that other people are walking. Don't fly down the hills, you might hit a kid. Lastly, LEASH YOUR DOG!!!”

“Clean park. Well trimmed vegetation and lawns. Nice place for a picnic.”

“We take the kids here regularly during the warm months. It's usually after we take a walk along the river. This park was recently renovated and is completely new. The playground surface is that cushioned, rubberized compound that you can fall on, but never get hurt. All of the playground equipment is really high quality and designed more for special needs kids.”

“My daughter was married at this venue under the huge oak trees along the Fox River. Staff was very helpful and cost was reasonable. I also attend Scandinavian Day in each Sept. Great music, dance, cool venders from 3 states and cultural food.”

“Beautiful place. Plenty of natural woodland flowers to identify (some schools go here for that purpose). Plenty of parking and a porta potty available. A lot of deer and coyote in the area. Close enough to walk to the Fox River if it's not rainy season. White and blue heron near the river. Many other birds observed in the woods. Located near the bike trail that leads to Elgin and Geneva. Picnic tables available. Across the street from a dog park”

“This is a great place to go. There are two shelters, a boat launch, trolley station and so much more. Ride your bike here. Come and enjoy.”
