“One of the best potato pancakes I've ever had! The baked french onion soup was very cheesy, other than lacking a bit of flavor it was really good. The spaetzle was a little different than from what I've had at other German restaurants so I'm not sure which one is actually the genuine one. Didn't care much for the sauce/gravy that it was topped with so next time I will get it plain. Service was excellent.”

“After driving past this place more times than i can count, we decided to have breakfast here today because we were starving and noone was there. What a wonderful pleasant surprise. We had steak and eggs. The steak was delicious and seasoned so well. Nice man that served us. Potatoes were so good. Will definitely frequent this establishment.”

“What an unexpected gem? From the outside, you may think this is a boat launch with a bait and tackle shop. But, the parking lot was full. Feel free to park along the road. Several cars ended up doing that while we were there, and it seemed like it was a normal thing. The service was friendly and helpful. We asked for recommendations on a couple of things and were not disappointed. Get the house toast! The food was great. You get a lot of food for the money here. We will definitely be coming back. There are also slips along the water. So, during boating season, cruise on over.”

“I've been coming here my entire life and my parents were coming here long before me. Born and raised in this fine state, have tried every damn raved about chicago pizza joint, and Ron n Pat's has always reigned supreme. I live in Arizona now, but every few months when I make a trip back to Chicago, I refuse to leave town without getting this pizza. BBQ pizza with sausage, bacon, and onions. Probably ordered this exact pizza 500 times, not once ever have been unsatisfied. Plus, every 20 times you visit, you get a free pizza, so if you're a pizza hog like my fine self, you'll get free pizzas all the time ;)”

“Definitely one of the best places to go between Lake and Cook County that is on the water. There's a bar at the pier then there's a ferry ride from the pier to the actual Island and there is two big bars on the island that the service is pretty decent at they do as best as they can with them out of people that they see. There's also boat parking which is really nice if you have a boat on the chain or if you're there just for the day. They also have many live bands on Friday and Saturday nights usually a great time I would highly recommend it to somebody that is not from the area or that has never been here. Usually to have a good time you can easily expect to drop anywhere between 80 to 140 for two. Enjoy!!”

“This is where looks can be deceiving. We looked inside from the window and almost left, small place, few tables and a large bar. We were looking for a place where we could sit down, have nice conversation and good food. So glad we did not leave. It was what we were looking for. The service was amazing and the food was outstanding! We are ready to go back.”

“With some of the best food in the Chain-o-Lakes, Cuda's is one of the cleanest bars in the area. Great entertainment all week long from the DJ and Pool, to the live bands and bingo there's always something to do. Shout to the amazing staff for being fun, attentive and making Cuda's a highlight of the week. When in doubt, you can't go wrong with the Cuda's Custom Mac n Cheese. If you're not sure about a drink, ask Tiff for her special, seasonal shot (the green one) or one of her Long Islands.”
