“Did a gymnastics ring and weighted vest workout here and it was nice only thing that was bad is the last group that had a party there didn't clean up very well. Would be cool if they added a pull up bar and some other workout park equipment on nice days i don't like working out inside”

“Great small town park. Nice playground. Pavilion, with picnic tables. Great war memorial for deceased local veterans. The plans for a new playground, including rubber ground covering is in the works. This will be handicap accessible. The plans for the Rec Construction has started for the recreation area next to the old recreation area.”

“Great dog park! Full turf with a long fenced in area for the dogs to play fetch in and run around. There are doggie bag stations lining the fence for when your dog makes a mess. The gate is a two stage entry which let's you enter the first gate, remove your dog's leash and then go through the second into the dog park. This is great because it gives you a chance to get the leash off without other pups jumping all over your own dog and you! Oliver, my wife and I all love this park!”

“This is a wonderful find about an hour from home. We rented one cabin, son and his wife another cabin, daughter and husband another cabin. It was perfect! Cabins are clean, fishing is good, and owners are great! We also got excellent food from the winery. We will return when we can get cabins!”

“Could not be happier with this campground, it's quaint I believe there are about 20 spots. Every spot is wonderful and spacious! And plenty of room for parking as well. We just got here a couple of days ago. But have been full time camping for almost 4 years now because of my husband's job as a contractor. So far this is the best campground we have been too. The lake and corn fields provide plenty of privacy and on top of it all there is fishing! If you're looking for a weekend getaway or something long term, the prices are very fair and you won't be disappointed!”

“Well maintained quiet little park. Pea gravel track that’s is 1/3 mile, strollers can be used on, and is partial sun partial shade. Metal play ground with coating, swings, and small book exchange along with a large goal/target wall. Roller hockey rink next to play area- all inside the track area. Large covered pavilion with coated metal picnic tables and trash cans. Mostly flat ground but does have hills leading up to the park that can be used too.”

“I took my son for a walk on the 1 mile trail; he was in a stroller. Even though the walk back up the hill was challenging, it was an awesome experience. The park is beautiful, and it’s nice that you can hear the water from the creek flowing as you enjoy the nature all around.”

“Great campground, nice clean pool, lots of fun activities for the kids. The activities come at little bit of a premium price vs state park camping but it can be a nice change of pace and the kids love it. Everyone working there we dealt with was super nice and friendly. Teenage staff were wonderful with the kids. Our young kids (all under 10) enjoyed the playground, pool, and seeing Yogi Bear around the campsite.”

“We had never been there before and didn't explore the whole park so I'm sure there are things we missed. We did very much enjoy the play grounds. There are two: one for ages 2-5, and one for ages 5-12. There are also water fountains, lots of grassy areas to run around on, and a huge covered pavilion. We didn't see any bathrooms but that doesn't mean there aren't any. The 2-5 playground has a side by side slide so you can go down one side and your little on the other. Everything I saw was well maintained and functional. It's also a very pretty area on what feels like a backroad. I'd gladly go back!”

“Heritage park is a great little place to go, I usually go there 2 or 3 times a week. It has a nice easy to fish lake, a paved walking trail around the lake that connects to the bycicle trail that goes through the country for miles. Its just a peaceful well kept simple place to go.”

“I have been coming to this park since I was a kid, and it has always been one of the best in the area. You have a lot of open space in the way of fields for soccer, frisbee, football, etc. You also have 2 large playgrounds for different ages as well as a roller hockey rink, a wooded walking path in the back, several pavilions with grills for rent, and a Gaga ball pit. The park is always well-maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a park.”

“Trail heads north downhill from the parking lot and turns in a westerly direction. Private property borders the trail to the east but the boundaries are well marked. The trail dead ends so you will need to return the same way unless you decide to explore some. The preserve has some pretty steep hills and ravines and there are a large number of downed trees. Must have been a heck of a storm.”
