I had a bad experience with one of the doctors at her previous site and never went back. I immediately switched my four children back to her care at the new location. I’ve never waited long in the waiting room, or in the exam room. Dr. Johnston takes her time with my kids, is smart, and well spoken. I never feel rushed, and my concerns are treated with respect. I love that a variety of insurance plans are accepted including state insurance. I’m a foster parent and bringing kiddos entrusted to me to the same great doctor as my biological children has been such a relief. “Dr J and his staff are all lovely caring people. I appreciate the great service, laughs and smiles when I come in for my appointment. Dr. J is very thorough when adjusting your back. I fell on some ice and my knees were in so much pain. I asked Dr. J do the knees ever need or get adjusted. Dr. J said Yes!! I waited till my next appointment and for an additional fee Dr J adjusted my knees. It had my knees feeling much better. I can ask Dr J and he has an answer and explanation and helps you work through it. The massage ladies are awesome they have magical hands and the do some serious work on my body when I get massages. The ladies in the front office always greet you with a smile. I feel like I’m family when I go to LifeSpine. They all keep me cracking up and they die laughing at my jokes. “I have been waiting 3 months to see Dr Musick. My insurance did not kick in until the 1st of March and his schedule was also quite packed. Upon calling and making the appt I asked if Cigna was accepted not realizing it was a connect plan nor the office realizing they don't accept connect. I showed up and it wasn't until after driving 40 minutes across the river when I arrived I realized my consultation would not be covered. Upon explaining the frustration of sharing my ins provider and not being told that this specific plan was not covered, Alex, one of the staff (very kind and helpful), went to speak with Dr Musick about the issue. Not only did he see me for free given their office and I had a misunderstanding regarding the ins provider, but he did a procedure on me that I will not be charged for unless it proves to work in which case I will go back in for more of the same to help with the angio fibroma I have. I have seen many a dermatologist in the last two years and none of them have done a free "test" spot so that if it doesn't work I'm not out anything but that if it does then I can invest in the cost. I was so taken aback by the fairness of this in a field where that is not very common. He was also very kind and personable which I have found to be rare in this arena as well. All in all, worth the drive and out of pocket costs I will potentially have if our "test" works. :)”
