The martini recommended by Brian exceeded all expectations. Two thumbs up! The French Brie Bruschetta is my favorite appetizer. I’ve had it each visit, and it’s consistently amazing. And the baked onion soup was superb. I’d buy a quart of it if I could! Y’all, go support this small business. Lunch, dinner, or even cocktails— it’s worth the drive to Monee.”

“Got hungry for some soul food. Got a surprise invite to a grand opening of a new soul food restaurant in the south suburbs. I went and can honestly say the food was great. Very well seasoned food. Decent portions and prices. They're pretty in step with most soul food establishments in Chicagoland. The staff was friendly and quick. If u go on the weekend expect a short wait for takeout unless u call ahead. If you visit get the grilled or fried catfish & the jerk chicken.”

You will not be disappointed at all with anything. From the staff to two brothers doing what they love and it shows. Cooking on real smokers in the parking lot not that pre smoked stuff it can not be beat! There will be no other place for me from now on! I ordered a couple of large pizzas for my large family (which were great!!) and when I entered to pick them up the owner noticed my service ball cap from the USS Harry S Truman CVN75 from my time in the US Navy and he asked if I’d served onboard. I proudly replied yes and let’s just say he was very gracious and sincerely thanked me for my service. You can tell when people really mean what they say. It wasn't busy and the cashier who also took the order really seemed like he was in control.. I have seen some that cant spell their own name. I had the order in quick time where other times it was ridiculously slow.”
