“This is my second time here. My first time was roughly 4yrs ago. First time, came for the experience and their all you can eat Fish Fry on Wednesdays and Fridays. This time, had a craving for some AYCE fish fry and was so excited they still have the same deal. I tell myself to try other options but always go back to the fish. I came here with my family... fish and of course the experience of looking out the airport and seeing all the different planes with my kids. My kids very much enjoyed it. There wasn't a fish fry option on the kids' menu but they were very happy to accommodate. My oldest doesn't eat seafood or rarely, but he requested that he wanted the same meal the family is getting. The portions are very big which made the plate look super appealing and ready to devour. Let me tell you, seeing the pieces of fish (including the kids') I'm happy that this restaurant wants their customers to be happy. My oldest and husband was able to finish the plate and could maybe go for a smaller next but decided they didn't want to over stuffed and feel like a ball rolling out this place. The soup was great. My younger kids finished their meal and the soup they ordered (2 split a bowl). My husband and kids said the soda was great that it was really carbonated. We didn't order desserts after being full. The workers were all very friendly, especially our waitress. Washroom was clean. The waiting area with the airplane seats was a cool idea and my kids got to experience sitting in them. Although, I didn't see anyone cleaning those seats and the surrounding of the seats, I would hope they do occasionally wipe them down because everyone likes to touch it and play imagination. This is definitely a cool place to check out at least once. The pic with the fish and fries is a kid size portion, the adult portion is much bigger and comes with fries, hush puppies, coleslaw,, and either soup or salad.”

“For a small town bakery, I was blown away. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but if you twist my arm, I'll say, Apple Fritter. That is if you're talking about their pastries. Otherwise, I'll choose the Avocado Toast. The toast looked so good, I dove into it and forgot to take a picture, it was that yummy. What really surprised me and delighted me to no end, is the fact that they offer booze. I'm retired so a breakfast out is always like a weekend brunch. I love a Bloody Mary and my cousin likes a Mimosa and they were able to satisfy each of our preferences. Their bar is limited, but the beers they offer are local craft beers. Love it when local supports local. Their chicken salad is killer and and once you've tried it, you'll be buying a container to take home. I like grapes in my chick salad and this one also has candied pecans. OMG, those two extra ingredients made my taste buds sing. The kitchen is in full view of the dining area, so you can see them creating their magic. You can also see how clean and will organized their work space is. Customer Service is outstanding. It's small town hospitality - the staff was witty and fun to banter with. Blackbird is about a half hour drive from my house. It's not a drive I want to make on the regular, but it is a drive definitely worth a special treat.”

“I had an amazing experience with the employees the night shift at Casey’s. I turned my car off to put gas in my car and when I tried turning it back on, my car wouldn’t start. I went inside to charge my portable battery charger. Not only were they willing to plug my battery charger in, they even offered to jump my car! Immediately they were out to charge my car and got it started! Thank you the crew that helped me out. I didn’t catch their names, but they were so friendly and so willing to help. “So I went here for the first time using the Too Good to Go app (also for the first time). First off, it was a great amount of food. They usually price a meal like this at $20, which is honestly a little bit much, but we got it for $4.99, which was an INCREDIBLE deal. The taste? Not bad at all! Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy. Fish was crispy and well seasoned, a wee bit salty for my taste, but not horrible in the least. The sweet potatoes, however, were honestly a little meh. But again, not terrible. I would definitely go back thru app, and I think I will probably be back as a regular customer so I can experience more of what they have to offer.”
