Fish specials are available friday Saturday and Sunday I believe . He loved the bluegill and cucumber salad . I ordered the Frisco melt and fries. The burger was really good on the Frisco. I got the brisket chili and it was excellent. The Shrimp wrap was also excellent. The service was fantastic and it was a great friendly atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll back next time I'm in town.”

Instead of the usual dinner out followed by bowling, or another activity, we had a Zoom dinner with each team member and significant other sharing a DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL meal from White Oak Gourmet. Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, fresh crab cakes, salad and fresh green beans and short ribs with mashed potatoes were the features of this night. Now I had to had lemon chicken since I left San Antonio in 1975 - there was a fast food place that was their specialty and it was really good! However, as I am now diabetic, I decided on the shrimp with lobster sauce and tried the beef in oyster sauce , both in pints. Now my intent was to sample both but... .. I ate it all and it was good for a little town like New Baden! I am glad I went out of my way to do so. Now if this cop across the road would quit watching...”

Chicken are always freshly made along with little corn fritters that I can't help myself to dig in the bag the moment I get into my car. This place is small and for pick up only no tables to dine in. They also open for 4 hours during the weekday closed on Monday but as a note the restaurant closes at 8 pm. Aside from chicken they have also offered beer battered fried cod fish and fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and fries. You can order for catering but you need to call the restaurant ahead if you're ordering 50 pcs or more . They don't do delivery no curbside pick up and no drive thru.”

Our guests enjoyed the evening and raved about the meal. Appetizers: Calamari, Sausage and Peppers, Stuffed Mushrooms. Dinner was Caesar Salad, Chicken Florentine, Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce, Lasagna, and Broccoli. The staff was attentive and accommodating also!
