“Beautifully landscaped station. I love taking the train to/from here to Orland Park or wherever it is that I need to go along the Southwest Service Line. Friendly train crews, and clean trains.”

“For Chicago Metra stations this one is pretty nice ... good parking, recently extended platform, and The Booze Hound! A favorite local watering hole. Popular station for Cubs fans. Divy bikes down the stairs on the Booze Hound side. Public transportation ... #56 Milwaukee bus, and a short walk to the Addison Avenue bus which goes to Wrigley field.”

“I just would like to share my experience as a tourist. It was amazing and the conductors are very nice and helpful can't compare to what we have in my country! I needed to get to where I needed to be in no time. Wonderful.”

“Basic station that’s walking distance away from museums and the Lakefront Trail, making it very convenient. The station has two island platforms, both being accessible with elevators if needed. The outbound platform has two shelters available, while the inbound platform only has one. Trains are pretty frequent both directions.”
Address: 401 S Columbia St, Dwight, IL 60420, USA
“I miss the former Dwight station with its neat old stone structure from up the track but this new building is well-lighted, has two individual restrooms, some seating inside along with a table for standing in front of the window and a table available for people in wheel chairs. Outside is pleasant with lots of seating. There is free parking, although in busy travel seasons the lot gets fairly full.”

“I had used this line to go to and from the city without an issue. I was on the last train home and fell asleep. I missed my stop , and in a furry raced out of the train. My wallet must have slipped out of my pants, and was left on the train. I called their lost and found and one of the staff on the train had recovered and taken it to Union station. There is still hope for great honest people in this world. Thank you for having integrity.”

“Usually use the wuakegan station because the north line is very sparatic and half the trains stop in wuakegan anyway. But this one is convienant when you know exactly when you want to come home.”

“Its the fast and better way to go to the Chicago.”
Address: Winfield, IL 60190, USA
“Parking lots are a little difficult to access, but there's a pedestrian tunnel that leads to the north side of the tracks. The station is adjacent to the police station, but you'll never see any officers patrolling the area. The station and lot are also pretty dark at night. There are street lights, but they are extremely low power.”
Address: Metra, South Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, IL, USA, Roselle, IL 60172, USA
“Bathrooms are showing their age. Poor lot maintenance on the Roselle side, especially when it snows. Staff is nice.”
Address: Grayslake, IL 60030, USA
“Clean, quiet, warm waiting area with public restrooms. Announcements about incoming trains both indoors and outdoors. Includes both parking and a drop-off/pick-up area. A bike rack is available, as well. On the other hand, the NCS line has rather limited service on weekdays, and no service on weekends. There is extensive freight train service on this line, which has the propensity to cause more delays than the MD-N line, which also has service nearby. There are quite a few steps up to track level (and the waiting area) from the parking lot. And this particular station can become briskly cold, with feirce winds in the harsh Chicagoland winters.”

“Very affordable prices, comfortable and quiet ride love it”

“Good for railfanning and also really good for transfer. Smart for them next to each other.”
