“John Dingell Transport Center is hub for Amtrak train and MDOT bus transportation in Dearborn, MI. Built in 2014 the building is full of light, clean and safe and a big improvement over the old station. The location is disability friendly, offers long term parking, charging for electric cars and alongside the center you’ll find a Tim Hortons if you are looking for a coffee or a bite to eat before your trip/waiting for your traveler.”

“The signage here for train direction isn't as clear as it could be. It would be helpful if they added signs for northbound and southbound. Track 2 for southbound to Union Station or San Diego, etc. Track 1 for all points northbound (toward Van Nuys, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, etc.) Track 1 is the same side as the ticket machine and the parking lot. Note: the parking lot is small and cramped and can get tricky to turn around in. You access it from Empire.”

“I came in here in the middle of the night on a layover on my train. The place was pretty clean and overall I had no complaints, the subway wasnt open but that's okay because as i said it was the middle of the night haha. They have a SUPER cute little train museum on the inside that i thought was really cool. The vending machines they had inside also worked (and were pretty cheap!) Overall, no complaints”

“The charm of this riverside station coupled with its charismatic attendant made our train delay bearable. Storms in the area caused trees and powerlines to interrupt services and caused a two hour delay. Thanks to the wonderful attendant we were kept updated on the train's status and why there was a delay. We were very grateful for her service.”

“I there during the saint Patrick's day celebration in Chicago, We boarded at the station at Arlington park we among literally hundreds of young people headed into Chicago for the parade. It was fun and exciting load and crowded with excited young people and the staff was excited about having so much fun. The ride was long but anything but boarding. If you've never been to Chicago for St Patrick's day you have to drive up get a hotel and ride the rails see the city walk the streets and eat everything.”

“Great experience! I would recommend this train activity! There is a wagon where you can be outside. The breakfast was good! 2 things. We waited outside for quite a bit. It was pretty hot! It’s kind of random but if you are in a wagon with noisy people, well, you will be stuck with noisy people for the duration of all the trip. Most of waiters are welcoming like a jail door. I still put 5 stars but I don’t think they were nice. (For most of them.) The company cannot do much about it, I know. I love their store!!!”

“Just moved to Carlinville from Atlanta.. I absolutely 💯 love 💜 Macoupin County, Carlinville, surrounding sites, and especially the AmTrak Train passing through.. literally, reminds me of Christmas 🎄 mornings at Grandma's House.. everyone ask "why" I bought my 1st home here.. my response always is: "Macoupin County and Carlinville reminds me of old Norman Rockwell Scenes in the wintertime!" Truly blessed, grateful and happy to be a resident and part of the deep seeded MILLION DOLLAR HISTORY here!!!”

“Lisle station is a commuter railroad station along Metra's BNSF Line in Lisle, Illinois. The station is at 1000 Front Street, 24.4 miles (39.3 km) from Union Station, the east end of the line. As of 2018, Lisle is the 10th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,895 weekday boardings. It is near the Village Hall on Burlington Avenue and the St. Joan of Arc School. Parking for the station is also available near these locations, as well as further east near St. Joseph Creek Road and as far north as Ogden Avenue. Amtrak trains pass through the station but do not stop. Lisle station was originally built by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad in 1864. A fire destroyed the first railroad depot, but it was rebuilt in 1874 by the CB&Q. Currently, the station has a much more contemporary appearance, and even contains a pedestrian tunnel.”

“If I were to ride a train this wouldn't be a bad place to stop. Very clean. Nice ammenaties. And easily located in town. The historical brick building of this location drives the imagination of times past. What it must have been like in the early days. Scenes of western movies start to form as trains approach. Old railway meets modern railway at this luxuriant location. The view of the bridge and bluffs only get one to engage in such beauty!”

“Earlier this morning, I caught the 118am train from Rye, the power tripping conductor had the sack to usher me to where I was to sit! I relocated within seconds, no-one puts me in the corner! To his dismay, he returned to see that I had moved from my “assigned” seating. I hope this type of conduct is not a glimpse of future behavior towards passengers!!!”

“Well, it doesn’t look like much. Just the canopy for shade, and a few benches. Really… weird place to have a station? I was surprised to actually see passengers there. Overall a good 5 stars. Good freight action besides the San Joaquins trains to go Railfanning. It is my desire to return here one day.”

“Positive: Relatively clean and plenty of parking with reasonable rate, cute bee statue. Negative: No restroom for the public. Although it's understandable why it doesn't have public restroom, it's inconvenient and painful having to hold it when nature calls especially when you need to wait the next bus for more than 20 mins.”
