“This architecturally significant church sits at the Bull Rapids site, where Christian missionaries first disembarked with altar materials for the earliest churches - when Fort Wayne was still a Fort. The graveyard is along the banks of the Maumee River - a river sacred to men and women into the mists of time. My blessed Wife Judy and I (now deceased) would often drive the "old river road" on the North Side of the River (choppy now, it changes names seven times from lake avenue). That road... leads like the Roman concourses from Pompei, Herculaeum, and Venice.... directly to this beautiful church. The pastor (soon retiring) is an amazing, spiritually wonderful person. He prayed for my health once, and I received a miracle. This is the reason that after 1300 years of family history, it is my joy to accept that (since my religious education as a youth), that I've been a Roman Catholic - but a practicing Lutheran. If you wish to see the Spirit of the Lutheran Reformation alive today - come visit us at 8:30 every Sunday. “Having Adult instructors and an additional aide with each camp made my children and myself feel like they were safe. The low number of campers per camp session made my children feel included. The instructors knew their name and shared comments about their daily experience when picking up or dropping off. The other campers in the sessions were nice kids and my children felt happy to be around respectful children who contributed to the shared experience. The different offerings were great too and age appropriate. Thus far the one of the best camps my children attended.”

“Jen Miller was great helping us out. She was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. They have a lot of furniture in stock. And when I changed my mind on color Jen was very helpful and gracious. Also, Dwayne laid our Berber carpet and did a great job. They get 5 stars! Unfortunately I referred friends and they ended up with Jennie Klopfenstein. It was a poor experience and they took there business elsewhere. There is an office person who is a bit snappy and seemed very stressed. And the Office Manager’s desk is a total disaster - completely out of control and an unorganized mess - papers and files stacked a foot or more high- can’t even see an inch of desk space or floor surrounding desk. As a customer it concerns me to see that kind of disorganization and it should be completely unacceptable. It’s a hoarding issue that needs attention.”

“We are in town for a few months while my husband is working here and it is so refreshing to find a good quality gym while we are on the road. The gym is huge, with one main weight room and a couple of smaller weight rooms/ machine rooms. There is a functional training room along with a classroom and several racquetball courts. There is also plenty of cardio equipment. The women’s locker room is always clean and very spacious. The most important thing I was looking for was childcare for my kids while I workout, and this place has exceeded my expectations. I know my kids are in good hands here and they actually look forward to going to the gym. Childcare is included in the membership whereas other gyms charge separately. You can’t beat $20 a month with childcare included! My only recommendation is that they upgrade the equipment in the machine room as it is all pretty outdated and some machines are awkward to use. Other than that, this gym is awesome and I definitely recommend it!”
