“Very close to downtown Louisville. Relatively quiet, easy interstate access. Lots of places to eat and also a Starbucks close by. All gravel, level. Spaces are tight. Full hookups, including 50 Amp. Feels safe. There is a centrally located bathhouse and laundry facility. Located next to a popular pay to fish lake. Beautiful sunrise and sunset.”

“I had a blast at this park. The equipment although old, was still fun to play on. the only con is it's all metal so it gets hot. They have slides, jungle Jim's, swings, a Merry go round, and see saws. The gravel was a little difficult to walk around on. I thoroughly enjoyed walking on the memorial trail. Beautiful flowers and trees. The geese didn't seem to like us, and one tried to charge my friend but we laughed it off. Not too crowded and the restroom was clean and stocked up. I will be going back. And I would recommend this park to family and friends!”

“This place is immaculate run really well lots of space to get in and out very secure. And I need to say this it’s run by people that work almost 24 hours a day whenever I’ve reached out at four or five or 6 AM they’ve answered and they have compassion and grace. I am in the middle of a divorce which is why I needed storage units and they have just been such nice people. May God bless them. They are good humans.”

“You should check up on the history of this area if you haven't already! The people that work here are absolutely wonderful and don't have a prejudice bone in their body. The park is usually astoundingly clean too but remember we all gotta do our part so please at least pick up after yourself. Definitely one of my favorite state parks and I've heard it's a wonderful place to work too!”

“Opened in 1928, Tunnel Mill has always been a great place for young Cub & Boy Scouts to learn more about the outdoors and themselves. The venue is the perfect setting for being close to nature without being too far from town if any odd needs arise on your Scout outing. It helps provide an old-fashioned homey feeling while also still allowing the solitude of nature. The property also has a rich history in the community, hosting one of the state's most splendid historical sites: the John Works House and old mill wheel. The camping and leadership programs offered here have a profound impact on their participants. Like generations of Scouts before me, I can confidently say that my times at Tunnel Mill are some of the most important times of my life.”

“A+ for bathrooms with soap! Also, it's super nice they have changing and rinse off areas. It was very useful for having little kids. I loved that they had ropes so kids couldn't go very far in the water. It's shallow though to the ropes so that's nice! Lots of tables to use. We didn't even see ALL of the area so we know there is even more cool stuff. Absolutely beautiful! We will be back for sure!”

“Family traditions is what I think of when I think of Huber's. Summer strawberries, Halloween pumpkins, and Christmas trees. My family have been going to Huber's farm for four generations, we enjoy the feeling and experience of the place. I'm glad when it sold they didn't go to commercial yet. I hope it remains, the family feelings that have been built through the years.”

“Pretty cool, not much left there now though. Huge hill to walk down to get there. Plan to take breaks going back up lol, a lot of it is a paved walkway, tennis shoes are better vs hiking boots. The lower area would be a great running trail.”

“I love taking my dogs here! The only park I don't like is that there's big mud pit in the corner of the park. It's easy enough to avoid if you don't have dogs obsessed with water. It has a nice walking circle for people and a picnic area.”

“Great place to learn about history of extinct species, fossils, minerals, rocks and a lot more. It offers a beautiful view of the Ohio River and it has Bird Watching Area and Exhibits where Kids can enjoy and learn at the same time. They have a souvenir shop where you can buy fossils too. They offer outdoor activities where you can bring binoculars to observe bird species or trek along the Ohio River Greenway. There are 600 different fossils that can be found in the Falls and under good weather and river conditions, you can explore fossil beds. We explored the area both outdoor and indoor and my son loved every part of it. He enjoyed watching the birds and learning about fossils and rocks. Great place for kids and families for both outdoor and indoor activities. Highly Recommended!”
