“Very close to downtown Louisville. Relatively quiet, easy interstate access. Lots of places to eat and also a Starbucks close by. All gravel, level. Spaces are tight. Full hookups, including 50 Amp. Feels safe. There is a centrally located bathhouse and laundry facility. Located next to a popular pay to fish lake. Beautiful sunrise and sunset.”

“My husband and I stayed here Sept 28-30,2022 for his birthday. Room was spacious for the 2 of us (we booked a 2 queen bed room). Room was clean and was stocked with a fridge and microwave and coffee essentials. Shower had adequate water pressure and was easy to operate, unlike some hotels. Room had adequate lighting - there was a lamp by the beds and a lamp on the table. The TV looks to be like at least a 32 inch if not bigger. Only con was the first night around 1150p the smoke alarm decided to go off and wake us up. We were told It was the whole hotel that went off- hopefully it won't go off again. The front desk clerk does inform you, when you check in, that the room is non smoking and will be charged if it has been smoked in. Fortunately my husband and I are non smokers so that's never an issue. I visited the breakfast area before checking out. They had hot breakfast that included scrambled eggs, bacon, gravy. They had a waffle station and a separate coffee station. There was also a full bar in the breakfast area. For $80/night, we thought it was a great value.”

“We've stayed at this location multiple times. Never had any problems or issues. Nice, clean spacious rooms. We ALWAYS get the hot tub suite and it's great. Located right off the Interstate well within range of plenty to do. Really friendly and courteous people working here. On this visit, (currently staying here) I noticed that the hotel is pet friendly,..which I love animals so it's not a problem. I heard the occasional bark of a dog but in no way was it a problem. Very quiet hotel at night so no problems getting a good night's sleep. This has become a regular for us and we'll be back again.”

“Nice place. Pool was open and nice and cool. We rode the bike, 100° heat, and really wanted to swim when we stopped. Decent breakfast options. Lots of dinner options are less than a mile away. We had a problem with our TV remote, but staff was great about getting it replaced.”

“Opened in 1928, Tunnel Mill has always been a great place for young Cub & Boy Scouts to learn more about the outdoors and themselves. The venue is the perfect setting for being close to nature without being too far from town if any odd needs arise on your Scout outing. It helps provide an old-fashioned homey feeling while also still allowing the solitude of nature. The property also has a rich history in the community, hosting one of the state's most splendid historical sites: the John Works House and old mill wheel. The camping and leadership programs offered here have a profound impact on their participants. Like generations of Scouts before me, I can confidently say that my times at Tunnel Mill are some of the most important times of my life.”

“A+ for bathrooms with soap! Also, it's super nice they have changing and rinse off areas. It was very useful for having little kids. I loved that they had ropes so kids couldn't go very far in the water. It's shallow though to the ropes so that's nice! Lots of tables to use. We didn't even see ALL of the area so we know there is even more cool stuff. Absolutely beautiful! We will be back for sure!”

“My Class C RV shredded 2 tires in Lexington, spoke to Jason the second they opened, he was friendly and easy to talk to, said his guys would be out as soon possible from North Reading! He called me back to update me on their arrival, and followed up with a phone call when the work was done. The crew arrived and got right to work, and despite a very difficult rim and tire, they got the job done perfectly. They went above and beyond to make sure my other tires were safe and gave me the confidence I needed to get back on the road. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I admit I hesitated because I thought Sullivan tire was expensive - but this was a great value for the jam I was in. “I loved this hotel. Me and my husband and our 4 kids stayed here in the king suite for over a month while waiting on an apartment. It was a little pricey but worth it. The rooms were very clean and neat and we had 2 flat screens one in the living room and one in the bedroom and we had a little kitchen area, the staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us with our situation. I give this place 5 stars. Never had a problem with anyone and nobody judged us and customer service was great.”
