There are bugs, so be ready for that, it’s part of camping. For my nephew’s first time it was PERFECT!!! I highly recommend this place, it’s a hidden emerald of fun!! “We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The house was adorable, cozy, and beautifully furnished. All the extra touches the owners added made our stay even more enjoyable. There were plenty of snacks (which was great because we had been on the road for so long), bottled water and coffee, and even homemade cookies with a personalized note waiting for us when we arrived! The area was so peaceful and the landscape was absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying our time away from work and the stress of life. We enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and sunrises with coffee in the morning. It truly feels like a different world out there. I've already recommended Max and Barb's to several of my friends and family looking for a nice getaway. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in town!”

“Great pricing for the amount of time my husband stayed there. We couldn't find a better rate and location! The staff is amazing, they are all so welcoming, helpful, professional and kind. I honestly cannot express how great they are. My husband was there for work for a month and he was very happy with the treatment and how close this property was to everything, so I speak from his experience and mine since I stayed there with him for a week. I met a lot of great people during my week there and that included the staff. We loved the fact that it is a pet friendly property and my pups were able to stay with us.”

I think it has came up a lot in the overall scenery in the community. Compared to some of the other communities in Delaware County I would say this was in the top 3!!”
