“We picked this place based on favorable reviews and were not disappointed. Good menu, great service. It's a busy neighborhood kind of place - everyone in the restaurant seemed to know each other, lots of chatter and visiting. We ordered the special, 4 pieces of fried chicken and 2 sides for $12.99. It was GREAT! Breast, wing, thigh and leg were savory and cooked just right. Hubby had a baked potato and I had a sweet potato, and we each had a nice salad - other sides available. No way we could each eat 4 pieces, so we came away with a takeout box. Service was friendly and attentive and thoughtful. Not fancy but a great meal.”

“Came here for a date night with my husband and was worth checking out! Food was DELICIOUS with a plentiful portion size for the price. We ordered two burrito bowls and ordered nachos to split and we were FULL! Yet we couldn't stop eating it was so tender, moist, and flavorful. This is a cute family owned establishment, the girls who helped us were super friendly and guided us through our options of the menu considering it was our first time in. We will DEFINITELY be back to try more flavor combos with the burrito bowls!”

“The 4th star is for the waiter, who was really nice and patient, even after we took 20 minutes to order, and one star is for the food presentation. Otherwise the food was good, but not great. I ordered their signature burrito cause I’m a white girl and it said it was smothered in nacho cheese, but it wasn't. The salsa was a little disappointing as well, but it's hard to judge salsa when tomatoes aren't in season.”

“A (almost) hidden gem! This restaurant is tucked into the Old Bag Factory. We’ve been several times and each time gets better. The food was super tasty with complex flavors. I had the chilaquiles with steak and eggs. The tortillas were still crispy when served sitting in a wonderful green salsa that had just the right spice with a bit of a tomatillo tang all topped off with this wonderfully prepared steak! I placed my two over easy eggs on top and enjoyed some of the best food I’ve ever had. The service is very attentive and friendly. And the price reflects the portion size and quality!”

“I live really close by this restaurant, and my two favorite items on the menu are the lamb tacos and the cheese enchiladas with red sauce plate. I haven’t tried anything else, but these two dishes are good to me. The enchiladas have cactus on them in them according to the menu and that was my 1st time tasting cactus and it’s good. The lamb tacos are decent and different, I grew up eating lamb so I’ve had it different ways by several different cultures, and I noticed the Hispanic doesn’t do much to theirs, it has minimal flavor, and I have had bones in mines a few times which I didn’t like, because as I chew I had to take food out my mouth a few times because of the bones in the lamb meat, which shouldn’t be any bones in the meat at all! The only reason I give 4 star is because of that and I have to put my own cilantro & onion on my tacos, I wish they’d done it for me.”
