“BASE has been a part of my life for 5 years now and I can’t imagine not going there. Ayren and Tammy are warm, welcoming, encouraging, patient, and fun. The knowledge they have for Art du Deplacement is phenomenal. They teach in a way that is safe, fun, and supportive. When I am feeling like I can’t do something, the coaches are helpful and encouraging and will break it down for me. I love how BASE is a community/family. Both of my kids go there and we couldn’t be happier. Recommend BASE over and over!!!”

Gym Health

“I loved this place when I when I was a member here. The owners/ coaches are polite professional and friendly. Everyone else is friendly and if your are drop will treat you like a regular. The workouts are logical and follow a progression, the coaches also will work with you if you are unsure how to execute a movement. The facility it's self is well maintained and clean, it also well stocked. There are plenty of weights so you can easily find what you need during a workout. Drop ins are always welcome and the fee nominal compared to some other locations I have seen. If you are a visiting the area or living nearby I would highly recommend this gym.”

“This barre studio is truly a nourishing environment. I frequented The Barre Code regularly, until I moved from the area, and can tell you that I always felt challenged and never felt judged. The instructors were attentive and I learned from them. I miss being able to focus my me-time with these folks. I recommend it, highly. Visit ten times in a three week span and you WILL notice a difference in your body, and soul.”

“This place is not messing around. EXCELLENT We are a family of five and we take several different classes here. We probably spend combined over 20 hours in this Gym between the five of us because they have it all. I take Muay Thai (excellent program), Krav Maga (new program just underway and looking great) and sometimes I jump in and take the speed and agility with my boys. My triathlete (Ironman) wife mixes up her training here and takes 300fit, pilates, and Muay Thai. Our boys wrestle here and it is a superb program. My daughter and boys also take Muay Thai and my oldest son just started the soccer program which just started back up. They will be starting pickup games on the weekends now I hear so I will probably be trying that out. I must say looking at this review from fictional? "1 comment Fred Banks" that this comment about the Muay Thai program appears a bit fishy. With the type of comment and the finely placed ad for another competing gym that lost probably their best students to a more diversified program? whats that about? ..(Sparta simply has too much to offer). I am sure this other place has a good program but for them to say something like this about their students to some "random caller" they trained is in my opinion fishy and simply not true. Why would they say something about a student that is a world champion that they trained? Jamie's accomplishments pretty much tell the story.... she was the 2007 International Kickboxing Federation Muay Thai Lightweight Division World Champion and in 2008 she was runner up (Try that!). Simply put she kicks a$$ and I wouldn't mess with her that's for sure. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. After a bit of google searching I also found out that any Martial Arts Club can make up their own instructor certification program! Ok that's bull crap. Basically they can certify themselves! Your next door neighbor can open up a program in his living room and start his own certification program! I am not sure of the certification program this person is talking about but do you want to learn from someone that is a world champion? ..I do... The Muay Thai program is SUPERB. The size of the classes and rate of growth speaks for itself. Where else can you go and take a Muay Thai program from a world champion while your kids two boys and a girl (5,9,11) are taking soccer and wrestling class from Jordin Humphrey and your wife is taking Pilates and 300fit? Honestly I want to speak to this Fred Banks person and see if they even exist and or what their agenda is. This comments from "Fred" reminds me of something that sore loser Sensei John Kreese of the Cobra Kai dojo would have had his cronies do to Mr Miyagi and Daniel LaRusso in Karate Kid. Sparta is a one stop shop fitness facility with excellent world class staff. I think Sparta has over 25 different classes and currently expanding in turf sports, adult fitness, combat sports, and sports performance)....Go to their website they have all kinds of stuff like football, baseball, jiu jitsu, field hockey and others for all ages, the list goes on and on. A last couple comments. Into boxing? try Hank Johnson and Kenneth R. Thomas Sr. as coaches! I think that says enough about the boxing program there. I wish I had more time to take their classes. There are also a bunch of others at Sparta gym including office staff and the other coaches like Tim Brown (wrestling) and Drew Hess (Muay Thai) which I have personal experience with that are superb. I can't say enough good things about this place. My name is Von Luhmann and this review is real from a real live person that actually goes to Sparta. I am a business owner with no connection to Sparta other than I believe in the place and my entire family of 5 truly enjoy going there and I know they are teaching us the right stuff here. I am no expert but I know a good thing when I see it! and I know bull crap posts when I see them also. ”
