Top Parks in Howard county, Indiana, United states

Bicentennial Park

Address: 1904 S Webster St, Kokomo, IN 46902, USA

Park

“This is a quaint little park. Not much to it. It's about the size of 2 home lots. It is beautiful and well maintained. Has a nice view of the Elwood Haynes museum. Not much to do but sit and enjoy the trees. Traffic on Webster street and Boulevard avenue is pretty constant, so it's not that quiet. But all in all, it's a nice little green space.”

Picnic Pavilion

Address: Kokomo, IN 46902, USA

Park

“A nice pavilion for family reuions or company picnics. There is a small playground nearby for children and some great pieces of Kokomo history in the Sycamore Stump and Old Ben just across the drive. And just down the road is the beautiful Vermont Covered Bridge. A great place for pictures. Another great piece of Highland Park.”

Highland Park

Address: 900 W Deffenbaugh St, Kokomo, IN 46902, USA

Park

“Something for everyone! Kids have a fenced in play area, with the rubber "mulch". Much nicer. It has over a mile and a half of paved walking area, down and back. Or you can leave the asphalt behind and take to the Indian trails. The trails are a good quarter mile workout. I do NOT recommend it for anyone that can't climb a tree. Don't forget Big Ben, The Sycamore Stump, and 18 holes Frisbee Golf. The only down side is the Geese poop. So bring something to put over tables and chairs.”

Industrial Heritage Trail Playground

Address: Kokomo, IN 46902, USA

Park

“A nice addition to the Industrial Heritage Trail. Playground for kids and a spot to sit for mom and dad. There was an air pump for bicycles at the side of the bathrooms, but last I checked, it didn't work. And don't be here to late in the evening. I belive a few homeless people camp out here. But all and all, not a bad little park.”

Mohr Dog Park

Address: 2302 Saratoga Ave, Kokomo, IN 46902, USA

Park

“This is a great small park. The dog area is fenced in and there is a small children's park directly to the North. Area is safe, and located at the entrance of a subdivision. Gas station is close, as are several restaurants. A very nice park on the way out of town.”

“My son died suddenly, with no arrangements made. Sunset had done my father's service and when my stepmother died at his funeral, they stepped up and did her services without hardly missing a beat. So, I was familiar with them and felt comfortable that they would do a good job. They guided me through all the steps, and did an excellent job.”

“The owner was so friendly and helpful. We are first time campers and this was our first outing. We stayed on the back side of the lake, it was quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. This site is perfect for a popup. Campsite was spacious, not on top of another lot. We will definately come back.”
