(January 1, 2019, 6:18 pm)First time ever visiting. We liked the decor on the inside. Our waitress was extremely friendly. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and enjoyed it. Dinner arrived and the better half pork chop was undercooked. The waitress offered her the chance to order something else. She decided to just have the chop cooked a bit more. That was our only hiccup for the night. Other then that.... food was delicious and at a reasonable price. We would like to visit during warmer weather to sit outside and enjoy the lake view.
(December 11, 2018, 11:34 pm)If you're looking for high quality food and service, at a level you'd expect to find in Chicago, look no further. The atmosphere, wine and drink options and the menu choices are great. Don't expect a bargain, it's not a chain restaurant with budget friendly specials but if your goal is to splurge on a sophisticated, upscale dining experience from appetizer to desert, the Lighthouse is more than worthy of a visit.
(November 20, 2018, 11:57 pm)What lovely getaway not too far away and the opposite direction of Chicago. Such great high quality food outside of downtown Chicago! Nice treat seeing the beautiful craftsmanship of the building and it’s real sailboat incorporated decor design.
