Deli help was fantastic. An okay selection on groceries....you can get some basic specialty stuff. Owner seemed irritated to be there. I'll def go back when I don't want to go to the Heights.
My first visit and was very impressed. First, by the deli's atmosphere and layout. Nice selection of Italian products, e.g. pasta, sauces, cheeses, etc. Deli counter had wide variety of tempting salads and meats. All products arranged beautifully. Menu is large and clear. Staff is welcoming and courteous and in very clean matching attire. The restroom was spotless. Now for the food. In a word, excellent. From someone born and raised in the Bronx, New Yorker, I know and appreciate fine Italian food. This is the place to get it. Even met the owner, Tony. Cheerful, friendly and was making sure everything was being attended to. Overall an exceptional and memorable experience. I'm a committed and returning customer from now on.
I dropped by to pick up desserts for a BBQ that I was attending. The staff is very gracious and the desserts were all unforgettable. Their cannolis and lemoncello tiramisu are not to be missed.
I go there at least once a week. You actually get a sandwich you can find the meat on. LOL. Everything is fresh daily and tastes great. Sit around and socialize with the staff for an added bonus.
Nice Italian deli with basic fresh options and lots of shelf and frozen options that are either imported or made from scratch. We bought items to make a sandwich and took it home and ate it right away. DO NOT PASS UP THE TOMATO FOCACCIA. It reminded me of some the excellent sandwiches I would get in Chicago. We will definitely buy one every single time we stop in. I was tempted to try one of their fresh desserts but at $5 each I couldn't pull the trigger. (Maybe I'm just ignorant to the going rate as I rarely buy fresh to go desserts.) But I'm sure they would have been delicious as they looked it! Owner (I'm assuming, or manager but definitely got the owner vibe) was super kind. We definitely come back to local places that treat you like family!
