“I am overall very happy with my stay .. the hot tub was broken but I'm okay with that everything else was great room was very welcoming I felt I was at home really comfy bed nice bathroom and even a balcony.. I will definitely be back.. I previously stayed at Michigan city inn and that place is a nightmare.. all in all this is a great hotel and I personally think its underrated . The lady at the front desk is very nice and helpfull.. 5 stars!!”

“My daughter called and booked a room for a single bed room and later called back to upgrade to a double bed. When we checked in she was given a room with a single bed. Evelyn the front desk clerk was a great help as she upgraded the room without charging my daughter for the upgrade. We were very grateful. Evelyn was very kind and apologetic for the mixup.This was our first time booking at a Microtel and it was a great experience. It’s is a nice and clean place to stay. Wonderful staff and very comfortable.”

“This is a pretty nice hotel. Clean rooms friendly staff, and great breakfast. Sue was the lady who kept the breakfast area running. She was awesome! She worked hard to keep everything stocked and was very nice. About the only negative was that the rooms were small.”

“My husband and I along with our 3 year old and 2 employees stayed here for a couple of weeks. 2 different rooms. The room could've been cleaner for sure and housekeeping rarely ever came around. However I do not blame the housekeepers because there were like 2 of them tops while we were there. Meaning 2 employed there period. It was like some days they showed up and some days they didn't and when they were there they were slammed. The "manager" here definitely needed to do some things and I don't know manager correctly maybe? I actually saw the manager here a couple of times during my stay and he definitely had an arrogant attitude. The phone system was admittedly by them messed up. Everybody's room phones would ring all hours of the night and day but nobody would be on the other end. There is one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel to use but you aren't allowed to use it after 10pm, even though it is in its own little area with a door and can't be heard from any rooms. They don't offer any change in exchange for cash either in order to use it. Hot tub didn't work The entire time we were there and The warm pool was cloudy dirty looking so I was nervous to get in it. The ONLY reason I gave the amount of stars I did is because of the hotel employee that worked up front. She was ALWAYS there. When we went to sleep she was working and when we got up the next morning she was working. I don't know when she ever slept but she ALWAYS had a smile on her face and fixed any problems immediately. I can't say for sure that I would ever come back but if I did if she was no longer working there I wouldn't stay.”

“Very nice place. The Asst.General Manager I believe her name is Devora was so welcoming. I was sitting in the lobby admiring the beautiful hotel, Devora came and introduce herself , she wanted to make sure that everything was ok with our room, I said yes . "she said Fantastic ! ????To me that speaks volume. My husband and I thought Very nice well dress professional Lady. Tammy was very nice and accommodating. I truly enjoyed my stay and I look forward to coming back . Room was very clean and fresh Thanks for the warm welcoming awesome Staff”

“Very cozy inn off of the beaten path. The room I stayed in was very neat and clean, with sheets and towels that were not the industrial white thay I have become accustomed to, but rather nice off-the-shelf sheets that you would find in your home. The room that I stayed in had radiant heat flooring in the bathroom, a welcome surprise! The room came with a small dorm-size refrigerator, a microwave oven, flat screen television set and Dish Network. The staff was friendly and courteous, and even allowed an early check-in. I will most definitely stay again when in the area.”

“My husband and I went to this Bed and Breakfast for our wedding anniversary. It was such a wonderful experience. The host go above and beyond with service. We were able to stay out until midnight but did not do that. We enjoyed the communal breakfast and company we met. This was such a wonderful experience. We will make a return visit. They do have a pool for summer time and a renovated pool house to rent out for more private setting.”
