“Great place to get in and canoe or kayak. Will be a 5 star once they finish the plans they have after a nearby bridge is replaced.”

“This is a nice place to hike and ride horses. The trails are well-marked and maintained. Hikers and riders are all friendly. There are points that, tracking near either Highway 12 or Highway 20 have some traffic noise, but otherwise quiet. It's not a well-known trail, so not very busy. The entire trail is woodland.”

“This place is beautiful. It was my first time here and loved it. Great place to take the family and spend the day or even go by yourself to just think. Also it's very educational for the little ones if you catch the story time. I now go here and run or walk the trails often.”

“I've loved going to the Dunes ever since I was little. Great beach, as well as excellent hiking trails as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Whether it's one person or a family, there is always something fun to do at the Dunes!”

“Amazing place! But DO NOT do what we did and follow the REI guide into the trail directly off the parking lot. That is not the path you’re looking for... You must walk back out of the lot the way you drove in! It was a beautiful hike. When we got to the water there were a lot of boats there, so it felt less secluded and like less of a reward, but nonetheless was very welcomed. Taking a dip after a hot hike was perfect. The sand was HOT. Be prepared.”
