“The Inn was not even officially open to the public and I needed a room for a special engagement... Roxanne and Barb accommodated me and made my stay completely comfortable and I had an amazing time! They catered to my every need and then some! Roxy made me the best 4 egg omelette with bacon, potatoes and fresh fruit. I have always loved to stay at the Inn but now under new ownership it is even better than ever!! The bed was the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept on and I have been all over the world.... The remodeling updates they did made it much more modern but still made me feel more at home than anywhere I have ever stayed! The bar area and piano will make it a much more lively seen at night. Thank you again Roxy, Barb and possi for an awesome weekend you’re the best and God Bless you all ????❤️ I cant wait to come back and anyone who plans to stay in NW Indiana please treat yourself to the BEST Bed and Breakfast you will ever find!”

“I work down the street from this park it looks like a pretty big Mobile Home Park always cars going in and out it looks like they try and keep up with it and make it look nice although like many of the people say they could do some road work in there. The people I see in my store from here are usually pretty nice and easy-going to.”

“This is a great community to live in. I have never had any problems since I have lived here. They have a pool, playground, and a basketball court for the kids. When holidays come around they have parties and the kids really enjoy it. They even have a after school program 3 days a week for The kids to get help with homework and do crafts. And the staff is very friendly. I love it here.”

“Things were perfect! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. The suite was spacious, clean and well appointed. We were totally amazed by the space. We didn't meet anyone face to face as we came in late, but we got a personal call earlier in the evening, followed by a text with everything we needed to know to access our room. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.”

“The staff was very nice and very helpful. They were there when I had a question in regards too the shower. I stayed in room 101 and it was very clean and elegant. The bed was very comfortable and clean. It was also cozy and helped me sleep better. The environment was very comfortable and welcoming. Miriam, was very polite and helpful when I checked out.”

“Our room was clean, and stocked well. We visited the pool and the hot pool, which I would say is a hot tub, but it's not a hot tub, as there are no hot tub jets. The hot pool was really nice and warm. The pool was a little too chilly to swim in even though it is an indoor pool. They have snack machines and drink machines and ice machines which was nice. Inside the room we had a little fridge and microwave. Our stay was really nice.”

“Great staff! Very clean and comfortable. Large rooms. This hotel has a bar with a decent menu, like burgers, wings, pizza, and fries. There is plenty more options on the menu. Lots of truck parking, and very trucker friendly. 50+ truckers stay there every night during the week.”

“We got in at 1:30am. The lady at the front desk was very kind and got us a room quickly. The room was neat but best of all the comforters on the bed were extremely soft and cozy, as was the bed. The pillows were a better quality then what I'm used to at hotels. The hot breakfast had a good variety of breakfast foods.... Overall we had a great experience.”

“My first thought was I'm not staying here long . The lady that was in the trailer next to me had a big dog that she didn't clean up after so there were dog droppings on that side of my RV. Then there was the train. The tracks run on the backside of the campground and trains come by pretty regularly. The reason why I stayed was the price was affordable. The people in the office went out of there way to work with me because I wasn't sure when I would get laid off from the job I was on . All and all if I work in that area again which I probably will, I would go back . This is more a place for the working class like myself with a few families that live there year round. From what I saw . I would recommend.”

“The Songbird was a very nice stay! It was a great getaway for a night from the kiddos. We got the couple's massage, and stayed at the Bluebird Room. “I would like to visit again during the summer months. Everything closes after Labor Day. The train tracks were not bad. We brought a fan and had the air conditioner on so we didn't notice it. The staff are very friendly. The cabins are cozy!”
