“I love the Annual Gardening Show. It's held in January after Christmas is over, and usually I'm in need of some gardening fun by the end of January! There is a very good line-up of speakers with a variety of topics. The seed & bulb exchange is just perfect for a January show. I also enjoy the gardening vendors. I'm really looking forward to the next show coming up on January 24, 2015. Ticket price of $10 gets you in for any or all of the speakers, plus 5 tickets for free seeds & bulbs. Very good value for those who love gardening!”

“This is a nice place to hike and ride horses. The trails are well-marked and maintained. Hikers and riders are all friendly. There are points that, tracking near either Highway 12 or Highway 20 have some traffic noise, but otherwise quiet. It's not a well-known trail, so not very busy. The entire trail is woodland.”

“I loved this place as a kid. We could see it from our house and would go very often. It has changed a lot since then, which I don't like, but I think that it is just because I grew up with it different and I am just sentimental about it. There used to be a bridge crossing the ditch behind the park surrounded by trees. The bridge and the trees are gone now and replaced by a gravel path to cross the ditch. On Google's cover picture for the park, there is a "firetruck". That is gone now and replaced by a weird swing platform thing.”
